The fire dancer (Natsu love story)

Part of the family

"Here we are! Make yourself at home. I'll get your bedroom ready." Lucy said walking through a door to the mentioned bedroom.

Ember sat down on her couch already enjoying the warmth and lightness of the apartment. It's scent was pleasing to her nose.

"I'm finished with the room, so you can unpack and make yourself at home," she said heading to the small kitchen

Opening the bedrooms door she was greeted with a beautiful room. It's large window was shrouded by cream lace curtains. The beds soft covers looked like an ocean of fabric. With a sudden impulse of excitement, ember flopped on the bed enjoying the feeling of the fabric in her skin. It had been a long time since she had a bed, non the less a room, of her own. She could have laid there forever but she knew the packing should be taken care of or she would be too lazy to do it later. She carefully began to unpack her cloths into a large opening dresser.
A knock broke her focus.

"Ember I made some tea want some ?" Lucy said popping her head into the room.

"That sound great," she said standing and walking to the kitchen.
After her cup of tea, which was wonderful, Ember decided to go to sleep. Putting on a short silk night gown, she fell into a pleasing sleep.

*tap*

Embers eyes opened to the sound. Sitting up she listened closely for it again.

*tap*

There it was again.
She stood quietly and opened the door without a sound. She walked through the apartment until she saw a figure in the kitchen. Looking closely she could tell it wasn't Lucy. The figure opened cabinets removing multiple items.
They were facing away from her. She quietly snuck behind them. She used a burst of flames from her elbow to give her punch more thrust. Her fist sank home on the back of the intruders head. He flew across the room. Before he could get up Ember  had strangled his waist and pinned down his hands.

Suddenly the lights turned on.

"What's going on!" Lucy said running into the room.

Ember looked down at the intruder just to see it was Natsu.

"Ouch, ember you really pack a punch!" Natsu groaned

"Natsu how many time have I told you to stop breaking into my apartment!" Lucy yelled throwing up her hands in frustration.

"I'm sorry Natsu," ember said releasing his arms. She realized she was still straddling his hips. Blushing hard she stood off of him.

"It alright," he said scratching the back of his head.

Natsu, with much protest from Lucy, ended up sleeping on the couch.

The next morning

"I know you just settled in but why don't you try guild life for a change?" Natsu said the next morning as they ate breakfast.

"I don't know, I've never been in a guild." She said unsure of what to do.

"You don't need to be unsure because we'll be your new family. We'll never throw you aside and we will always be there for you. So, What do you say?" Natsu said giving her a smile.

With this new reassurance she smiled.

"I guess I'll give it a try,"

"Great! Welcome to fairy tail!"
