He picked up after the third ring. "Hello?" I heard his husky voice say. Damn it, I didn't even consider the fact that he would be sleeping like the other normal people.

"Ashton I'm sorry, I shouldn't have called, it's stupid to call at this time" I apologized immediately. "Whats wrong?" He asked as soon as he heard my voice.

"Nothing..." I lied. "Jessica I can tell there's something wrong, I doubt you called at 1am for a casual chat" he pointed out. I sighed. Why do I even try to lie?

"Ash, you're gonna hate me" I said softly. "What did you do?" He asked and I could hear the concern in his voice. "I cut myself again. There's a lot of cuts. And I mean a lot." I said, emphasizing 'a lot'.

"How much blood is there?" He asked, surprisingly calm. "I don't know it's everywhere and I don't know what to do" I cried.

I am officially panicking. There's so much blood. What have I done? Oh my god...

"Okay stay calm, I'm gonna come over, just give me your adress" he said quickly. I gave him my adress.

"That's like 5 minutes away, I'll be there soon, don't panic" he said. "There's a key under the doormat" I told him. "Okay, I'm on my way" he told me before hanging up.

Too late I thought. I tried to focus on my breathing and it started to work, but that went down the drain when I saw my cuts. Holy shit they're deep. And there's so many...

Just then I heard the sound of the door being unlocked and opened. "Jessica?" Ashton's familiar voice rang through the house.

"Upstairs" I called back. I heard his footsteps as he walked up the stairs and then I saw him in the doorway a few moments later.

"Oh my God Jessica" he said, rushing over to my side. "I'm sorry Ashton" I said in between sobs. "Its okay, let's clean them, yeah?" He said, helping me up off the ground.

"There's a medical kit in the cabinet" I told him. He got it out and got out some alcohol patches. "This is gonna sting" he said, looking at me in concern.

"I know" I simply said, having used them on myself many times in my life. He nodded before gently pressing it to my wrist. I winced in pain.

"Shh it's okay" he reassured me before pressing it to my skin again. He continued to clean my cuts, whispering reassuring words. "Dont focus on the pain, focus on something else" he instructed.

I looked away from my wrists and looked up at him instead. Tears were still running down my face but I'd stopped sobbing.

He looked at me once he was done and my arms were bandaged. I stared at his hazel eyes. He smiled down at me, but it was a sad smile.

"Why don't we go sit somewhere and you tell me what happened?" He suggested. I nodded and led him to my room. We sat down on my bed.

"Why did you do this?" He asked sadly. "My best friend in England...She committed suicide" I whispered, staring at the ground.

"I'm so sorry" he said. I looked up at him. "I would say it's okay, but to be honest, it isn't. It's not okay" I said sadly. "I wish it was for your sake. I honestly hope things get better" he said.

"Thank you for coming, Ashton" I said after a while of silence. "No problem" he said with a smile.

"Hey um, where are your aunt and uncle? I didn't see them" he said. "Oh they're on a business trip for a month. I'm alone here" I explained.

"They just left you alone?" He asked in surprise. "Yeah" I said, hoping he'd leave it at that. "Wow" he said and thankfully he left it at that.

"I'm not kicking you out or anything, I'm just wondering, seeing as its like 2am, don't you wanna go home and sleep?" I asked, a small smile on my face.

"I'm not really tired anymore" he admitted. "Me neither" I laughed slightly.

"Wanna have a two hour late midnight snack?" I offered with a giggle. "Sure" he laughed. We went downstairs and ended up eating some popcorn and watching a movie, despite the time.

"Can I tell you something?" Ashton suddenly asked. "Sure" I said, muting the tv.

"Ive sort of...well, over these two weeks I've developed...feelings for you" he said quietly. What!?

I was shocked into silence. Why would he like me? "It's okay if you don't feel the same way I just...I needed you to know" he said when he saw my face and my heart broke. He looked just like Calum when I turned him down.

"Ash..." I started, not knowing what to say. I don't have feelings for him that way. Or do I? Wait, what am I saying?

But he understands you like no one else can. A voice in the back of my head said. And just look at his beautiful hazel eyes and curls. No, I don't have time for boys.

"Ashton I don't know what to say...It's not that I don't like you its just...I have to sort out my life before I can even think of having a relationship. I'm sorry" I said sadly.

"No I completely understand" he said with a small smile. "I'm sorry for putting you in this situation" he said. "I hope this doesn't make things awkward" he said.

"It won't, we can still be friends?" I asked hopefully. "Of course we can" he said. "I think I'm gonna go home though. Bye Jessica" he said, getting up and walking over to the door. "Bye Ash" I said with a small smile.

No. I like Calum. Ashton is just my friend. Nothing more. Or should it be something more? Oh God this is bad. I'm falling for both of them.

A/N: Yes I know, love triangle, so cliche. But I don't care, sue me. Lol anyways thanks for all the reads xx
