❛There is no such thing as fat girl.
Every girl is beautiful on her own way.❜
- Niall Horan.➳
Fatty. Fatty. Fatty. Fatty.
This word kept echo-ing in my head ever since Claire said it. Though I was already at home, it didn't stop bugging me. Nobody had ever called me by fatty. And I wondered.
"Am I fat?" I asked myself as I looked at my body in the mirror. "Fat."
Sure, I wasn't the skinniest girl out there but I wasn't fat either. I was like a typical average girl with an average weight. I rolled my eyes as I realized that I actually listened to what Claire, the bully, said!
"What a waste of time!" I sighed, walking out of my room to go to the kitchen where mum was preparing dinner.
"Julia!" Mum exclaimed at the sight of me. "How's your new school, honey?"
Terrible.
"Not bad. I have a friend and it's okay," I smiled, taking a carrot in my hand. I loved carrots. And definitely not because they ressembled Trump and I had the power to crush him indirectly between my teeth.
Before I put it in my mouth, the words automatically slipped out, "mum, am I f-fat?"
