Chapter 34//Magazines

The next morning, Alice woke up in Simons room, but Simon was no where to be found. She must've fallen asleep after the FIFA video, and he just left her there. She got out of the bed and noticed that Simon was sitting at his desk.

"Morning Simon?" Alice sat down next to him.

"Morning Ali."

"Did I sleep here?"

"Yeah, fell asleep after laying there for a few minutes."

"Oh... Well, where did you sleep?"

"Vik's old room." He sighed, continuing to edit his video.

"Why?"

"Because you were in my bed? I didn't want to sleep with you! The disrespect!" Simon laughed, placing a hand against his chest dramatically.

"Sorry, didn't know you cared that much to sleep in Vik's old room..." Alice relaxed into the chair, staring at the details on the wall.

"I didn't want to disturb the peace, or anything. I'd be in major trouble if I'd slept in the same bed as you for even a minute. Vik would murder me!"

"True. I would murder you as well."

"Then why did you ask? If you knew the answer." Simon continued to edit his video, saving it, and then putting it up to render.

"I don't know. I just wanted to check." Alice sat back up, finding it hard. Being pregnant was hard.

"You alright?" Simon asked as he spun his chair so he was facing her.

"Yeah, I'm completely fine," Ali sighed.

"No you're not..?"

"I am."

"Alice-"

"I am." She stubbornly crossed her arms.

"Okay, just making sure. Been a while since you told me how you've been..." Simon placed his elbows on his knees and propping his head up with his hands.

"I mean lately, it's been okay. Just pregnancy and everything... And the whole thing with you was stressing me out..."

"There's something more... You're not telling me the whole truth, Alice."

"Okay, yeah, I'm worried about when I have this baby. I'm worried that something or someone is gonna happen that just drives Vik and I apart. I'm scared that Emilia won't have a father." Alice ran a hand through her hair.

"Alice, come on. Vik wouldn't leave you again for the world. He knows that there are more than ten people that will be on his ass if he hurts you again. Me included. Nothing's going to happen to you on Josh and my watch." Simon reassured, making her feel slightly better.

"Thanks Simon, but I just feel... Nervous. I just feel like I'm gonna end up alone."

"No. I will not let that happen." Simon stood up, helping Alice stand so he could pull her into his arms. "You're safe here. You are safe." He kissed her forehead.

"Thank you, Simon."

"You are most certainly welcome." He moved away from her, sitting back down.

After a few hours of random talking and game playing, the rest of the Sidemen finally returned home. Alice and Vik stayed for a little while longer after everyone came home, but then, they decided it was best for them to not overstay their welcome... Although Josh protested and said they should stay another night. Alice refused his offer, and hopped in the car with Vik.

"It's nice to be home, init?" Alice asked, placing her coat in the closet.

"Extremely nice. After spending a weekend with Harry and his family, yeah... It's nice."

"What's wrong with Harry's family?" She moved through the hallway, into the kitchen.

"Nothing, I just really really missed you. " Vik slid his arms around her waist, placing his head on her shoulder.

"I missed you too." Ali placed her hands on top of his.

"I kinda just wanna take a nap with you." Vik stayed there, hovering over her shoulder. Alice began to read through a magazine.

"I'm not tired."

"I'll make you tired."

"Vikram!" Alice laughed, knowing he was making an inappropriate joke.

"Sorry," he laughed, "I had to make that joke."

"You have definitely spent to much time with JJ. I'm not surprised." Alice flipped the page, gasping.

The headline read:

'Alice Zerker, Pregnant?!'

Almost a year since Alice Zerker has been on any stage, and she's pregnant?
The last time we saw Alice, she was in Florida, doing one show before deciding to pack up and go home. But when she'd gotten back to the U.K., she wasn't with her husband anymore. Alice had stated on her Twitter that the couple had divorced. Vikram Barn, 20 year old youtuber and part of the 'Sidemen' had cheated on Alice. Twice. And now the couple is having a child...
Her brother has spoken out about the matter, basically saying that Vik and Alice were completely fine and living together, but will it last? The critics are saying that Vikram is going to leave Alice due to this tweet from his best friend, Simon. We'll just have to see...

Vik's just gonna leave Alice as soon as Emi is born... Smh...

She let out her breath, looking over her shoulder at Vik, who had a terrified expression on his face.

"Vik?" Alice asked, shaking.

Vik said nothing, he moved away from Alice, sliding down the wall behind them. "Why would he tweet that?" He placed his head in his hands.

Quickly, Alice grabbed her phone. She scrolled through Simon's Twitter, unable to find the tweet in the magazine. Did he delete it?

Alice;
Simon! Did you see this?! I'm so pissed off.

She attached a picture of the magazine, in a few minutes, Simon replied.

Simon;
I never said that? Who the fuck made that?

Alice;
Are you sure this wasn't an actually tweet from you? Because I am. So. Mad.

Simon;
It seriously wasn't me!!!

Alice;
I'm not so sure... Weren't you pissed at me a few days ago? Wouldn't be a horrible guess.

Simon;
Alice I swear on my life, that it wasn't me!

Alice;
Hard to believe.

Alice placed her phone on the counter, sighing. She hadn't know what to believe anymore. People had lied, cheated, and abused her. Nothing anyone said would be taken lightly from now on.
