Chapter 2// Changes

Sam;
Hey! There's been a change! Vik is allowed to come on tour with you, considering your gonna be bored while the main performers preform. Your producer and I though this might be a nice treat...
See you guys at the airport TOMORROW AT SIX THIRTY!!!! DONT BE LATE, ALICE EMILY!

"VIK! THERES BEEN A CHANGE!" Alice bolted down the steps, knocking on every door as she tried to find her husband.

"What?" He asked from the living room, continuing to scroll through his phone.

"Your allowed to come with me, Vik!"

"But-"

"Yeah, no! My manager just said there's been a change and now your coming with us tomorrow morning!"

"Wouldn't you want Josh to go with you?"

"No, I like you more." She giggled. "Josh is too serious, he'd push me around too much and I really don't need that on my first tour."

"I understand, it would be hard for me too."

Vik went back to the couch, sitting down. Alice followed and sat on his lap. She pulled her legs up onto the couch.

"Vik,"

"Yes?" He looked up into her eyes.

"I'm glad I married you." Alice kissed his cheek as he placed his hand on her thigh.

"I'm glad I married you, too." He laughed, kissing her back.

"Do you ever regret marrying me?"

"No, never." Vik drew circles on her thigh.

"Good, good..."

"Why'd you ask?"

"Because sometimes people lie to me, and then they leave me..." Alice thought about Josh, and all the things he's done to her.

"Josh..."

"Pretty much... But that's the past, it's time to live in the present." Alice smiled.

"Did you even pack for tomorrow?" Vik asked, giggling.

"Who do you think I am? Of course I packed. Did you?"

"I didn't even know I was going until like, three seconds ago." Vik smiled.

"Well, you better start packing!"

"I would, but I'd like to enjoy some time with my girl before she's busier than ever."

"That seems nice... Let's do it!" Alice put a look of surprise on her face.

"Okay..." Vik pulled out his phone, snapping a quick picture of the two of them.

Both of them let out a small laugh, looking up at each other for a second before looking back at their phones.

"I still can't believe how famous you've become..." Vik said the next day, as they were waiting for their plane.

"I still can't believe it either! These past few months have been so crazy... I'm glad I had you guys to keep me sane." She laughed.

"Anytime, Alice. We're gonna miss you and Vik..." Harry patted Vik on the back.

"Take good care of my Alice, please." Josh sternly said, staring Vik down.

"Good luck, Alice Z." Simon gave her a quick hug before placing something in her hand.

"What's thi-" She stopped when she saw the locket in her hand. She opened it, revealing a picture of her and the Sidemen.

"If you ever get lonely, or miss us... We'll always be close to your heart." Ethan smiled.

"Thanks guys-I love you all." Alice began to tear up as the rest of the guys hugged her.

"I don't know what I'll do without my little sister for two months..." Josh slightly smiled, letting a tear slip from his eye. Alice hugged him again.

"I'll miss you more than anyone."

"Don't forget to call me on skype, everyday, Alice..." Josh squeezed her tightly.

"I won't forget, Joshua."

"Good."

"Flight 205 to Florida is now boarding." The intercom spoke. It was almost like a sad song, the whole group became silent. Tears streamed from Josh, Ethan, and Simon's eyes whilst the rest of the boys tried to stay as strong as possible.

"Goodbye, Alice..." Tobi looked down at the floor.

"Goodbye, Tobi."

"C'mon, let's go Alice." Vik sadly looked up at her.

"We'll see you soon." Josh said.

"Alright, guys! Don't have to much fun without me!" Alice tried to lighten the mood, but nothing seemed to work. She just gave up.

It seemed like Alice and Vik were doing the walk of shame, they hung their heads and stifled sobs. Neither of them wanted to leave their family, but they had to. Alice had fans she needed to see.

"Goodbye, London! Hello, Florida!" Alice vlogged, smiling.

Alice took a deep breath. She was ready to step out from the shadow her brother had created around her. She was ready to finally be in the spotlight. Finally, she wasn't going to be know  as Joshua Zerker's little sister, but as Alice Zerker, pop sensation.

But for some reason, her heart hurt. She was leaving her brother behind. Alice had depended on him for a while now, and she was leaving him. He was no longer going to be around anytime she needed him. She felt so alone.

Then she remembered Vik. He was right beside her on the plane, holding her hand. He would keep her safe, he would look out for her. She could depend on him. After all, we is her newest family member. He's supposed to care for her.

Alice;
I'll miss you, Joshua:-/

Josh;
I'll miss you too, Ali.

Alice;
I'll text you all the time, to make sure your okay.

Josh;
I'll be fine, just worry about yourself.

Alice;
Okay, Josh. I have to go, I'll text you as soon as I land on the other side of the pond.

Josh;
Oh, one last thing:
I love you. Your the last family I have, tell Vikram to take good care of my little sister. Good luck.

Alice;
Thanks Josh. Good luck with the sidemen! Tell them I love them so much.

Josh;
I will. Bye Alice.

Alice;
Bye.

Alice felt a tear fall down her cheek. She was going to miss the goofballs that were her best friends. She'd miss Frey, who'd she'd really clicked with in the past month, she'd miss her father, and her two sisters; Emmi and Hazel.

But as long as she had Vik, she'd be okay.
