Alice and Vik had been hanging out together in the living room for weeks now, playing mindless games like GTA and Minecraft. Sometimes, Vik would record the games so he could upload them because for the first time in several years, he hasn't uploaded frequently. And everyone knows why.
Vik somehow injured his left wrist, making it impossible to play any type of game without sucking. He had told his fans in a vlog that he would be uploading, just not three or two videos a day due to his wrist. They seemed to understand but a few were snippy with him.
Alice also spent sometime with Simon, going on the occasional date to the pitch so she could learn how to play football. She'd always wanted to play the game, but had to sit out because she didn't know how.
Simon was so kind in his teachings, being very kind and laughing at her mistakes. It was a good time for Alice, and would be one of her favorite memories.
But now, it was time for another convention, and the whole of the sidemen would make their way back to Insomnia for the third and final time.
Day one was approaching quickly, so the boys we're all busy with videos and vlogs. Alice stayed out of everyone's way, and often found herself in her room doing Twitter or Instagram QNA's. It was a good way to pass the time.
Alice Zerker @omgitsalicez:
Can't wait to meet some of you guys at Insomnia😊
Josh Zerker @zerkaahd:
@omgitsalicez I can't wait to meet myself!!!
Alice Zerker @omgitsalicez:
@omgitsalicez @zerkaahd Go home J, your drunk.
Eventually, it was around 7 at night, and the boys had decided to have all of the Sidemen over so they could leave as a squad. They were going to drive there.
Alice stayed in her room for most of the night, finishing up her packing. Most of the boys stopped in to talk and such, but they were mindless conversations.
"Alice, let's go." Simon, who had been editing in his room for about three hours, said.
"I'm coming. Tell Josh that I'll be in the car soon."
"Okay."
Alice quickly finished up her packing, checking around her to see if she'd left anything behind.
Eventually she decided she was set, and it was time to go.
Alice hoped in the back of Josh's car with Vik, Tobi in the passengers side.
"Hi guys, sorry." Alice bucked up as Josh pulled out of the driveway.
"Took you long enough. What were you doing up there?" Josh asked, clearly being inappropriate.
"Nothing, Joshua. Just finishing my packing."
"Jesus, no need to get all defensive." Tobi giggled.
"I wasn't m9."
"That's my thing!" Vik sighed, crossing his arms.
"Well, whatever. I'm going to sleep." Alice placed her head on Vik's shoulder and tried to sleep. It was kind of hard with the chatter of Josh and Tobi in the background, but eventually she began to fall asleep. Vik played with her hair, which helped her relax. She felt at home.
The group eventually made it to their hotel, quickly getting inside as it was colder than normal. Vik and Alice were sharing a room, but they were not allowed in the same bed together. Josh's rule.
"Alright. Alice, Vik? You know the rules. I'll see you both in the morning?" Josh glared at Alice, then shifted his gaze to Vik. Both of them nodded, shutting the door to the hotel room.
"I hate his rules." Alice fell onto the bed with a sigh.
"He just wants you to stay safe, Ali."
"Well, it's annoying." She rolled onto her side.
"I know, but you'll live. He's just being a good brother."
"Whatever." Alice pulled her phone out, and began to type a tweet, before realizing that she had a text message from Jess.
Jess;
It's been months. Are you okay Alice?
Alice;
Yeah, I'm fine. Just haven't gotten around to responding to texts.
Jess;
Oh, so I'm not important?:-/
Alice;
No, Jess you are more important to me than most of my friends are!
Jess;
Clearly not, it's not like you've been talking to me for the past few weeks.
Alice could tell Jess wasn't happy with her at all. It made Alice sad.
"Alice?" Vik came to her side, it seemed as if he'd been saying her name for the past few minutes.
"Hm?"
"What are you doing?"
"Sleeping." Alice giggled.
"Clearly not. Your texting someone." He pointed at the phone.
"Then why did you ask?" She giggled again, rolling her eyes.
"Because I was bored as hell. Please talk to me!"
"Okay." Alice, realizing she probably wouldn't win this fight against Jess, placed her phone on the bedside table.
"So how's your day been?"
"I spent most of it in my room slash the car, it's been great." Alice sighed. Nothing fun had happened.
"Sorry I couldn't make the car ride interesting for you. I was getting glared at by Josh." Vik giggled innocently, looking over at Alice who was now on her side, staring at Vik.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah... He gave me a whole speech about how I'm not supposed to touch you or anything, and then you put your head on my shoulder."
"Sorry, didn't know Josh was so strict about us being together. Jesus." Alice rolled her eyes once more at her brothers rules.
"He literally-" Vik yawned, "laid down the law."
"Are you tired, Vikram? Because you can sleep if you want." Alice furrowed her eyebrows at him, smiling.
"Yeah, that'd be nice... But I'd prefer to be-never mind."
"Same, actually... Josh can't come into the room in the morning tomorrow if I say I'm naked, now can he?" Alice smirked, getting out of her bed and going over to Vik's. She crawled in next to him.
"Sweet." Vik smiled, Alice loved his smile. Lately, since the cutting incident, it made her days ten times better.
"Keep smiling, babe. You deserve it." Alice kissed his cheek, smiling up at him.
