------------

Suddenly, it was Friday, and the new year was upon them. All of the Pack was leaving tomorrow morning. They'd had so much fun and it was great, but Alice was tired and all she wanted to do was sleep in for once.

"Ali? Time to get up. I think Lachlan and Mitch are already awake." Vik had tapped her, causing her to groan.

"Okay, Vik. I'll be out in a little."

"Alright. Please don't rush yourself babe. I don't want you being cranky on the boys last day here."

"I won't, now go see to it that your friends get breakfast." She sighed, rolling out of bed.

Vik smile at her, grabbing his jumper and leaving the room. Alice rolled her eyes and laughed. He cared about her so much over the past few days. He'd cared about her a lot on a regular, but now with the baby and everything he was the only one who could take care of her for many days at a time.

She rolled out of bed, putting on some joggers and Sidemen shirt. This was basically the only outfit she could wear. The struggle was real.

"Morning Alice." Lachlan said as she emerged from her room. He must have just come out of the bathroom.

"Morning Lachlan, how did you sleep? Well I hope?"

"Yes, wonderful. I'm sad it's my last day here, though." He frowned.

"Well, you're welcome any day, Lachlan. Plus I'll see you at Minecon in almost a month!"

"Oh, right. I almost forgot. You're coming to that?"

"Yeah! I have to make sure Vik doesn't cheat on his pregnant wife again!" She laughed, but Lachlan didn't.

"If he cheats on you again, especially while you're pregnant... I will beat his ass. So will the rest of the boys, don't you worry. If he's smart he won't ever cheat on you again." Lachlan pulled Alice into a hug, causing her to smile.

"It's great to know you've got my back. Thanks Lachlan."

"Don't thank me, you don't need to yet." Lachlan patted her shoulder before walking toward the rest of the group.

"I won't forget that..."

"I know. It's probably good you don't."

"So, guys." Alice stood in front of all of the boys, "Tonight's the party, right? So I'm going to need a lot of help setting up..."

"Don't worry, babe. We got it." Vik wrapped his arm around her waist, kissing her cheek.

"Thank you." Alice looked up at her counterpart, smiling.

"Anything for you, love. All I wanna do is make this pregnancy thing easier for you."

"Trust me, you are. I'm so thankful for you."

Five hours and a lot of setting up later, the Sidemen arrived. It actually wasn't that late, considering how dark it had gotten.

The boys were all playing the Xbox, not really paying attention to Alice or what was happening in the outside world. She didn't mind, though. It was great to see most of her friends in the same room.

After a few rounds of Call Of Duty, the boys put down their controllers and turned on some music. Vik took Alice's hand and made her stand up.

Vik pulled her in close, and she leaned against his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

All she could think about was the people who weren't happy with her, surrounding her. Making her feel uncomfortable. Causing her to have a major panic attack. Apparently Vik sensed her heartbeat increase, so he hugged her a little tighter and leaned his head against her shoulder. Alice felt safe again. As if nothing could hurt her or him, and their baby.
