"Did you just cheat on your girlfriend with me?" Alice was appalled. She stood up straight, taking a step away from him and crossing her arms.

"Uh-"

"No? Is that what your answer was gonna be? Because I don't think it's a no."

"Alice, she's not my girlfriend?" Vik looked at the screen.

"What do you mean?"

"That's my half sister."

Alice didn't say anything.

"You remember how I said my dad is dead? Yeah, my mom remarried, and they had a kid. I didn't know about her for a few years. I met her last year when I went home." Vik explained, smiling at how Alice overreacted.

"You have a sister?" That reminded Alice of her sisters. She hadn't spoken to either of them in months...

"Yeah. Jennifer, but she goes by Jenny."

"Oh... Okay... So you aren't cheating?"

"No, of course not. I would ne-" He fell short.

"Sigh." Alice rolled her eyes, he was ridiculous.

"Anyway. Yeah, I didn't know about her, my mom thought it was for the best that I didn't because I might have been angry. But obviously I wasn't."

"Oh, how is your mom?" Alice asked, sitting down on the bed.

"She's well. Believe it or not she's kinda worried about you..."

"Well, I can see why. Considering all of my mental disorders."

"Yeah... But I really don't think she knows about any of them."

"Oh? You didn't tell her that I've practically gone crazy?" Alice giggled.

"Nope. Never crossed my mind to."

"Wow, why?"

"Because your not crazy. Your Alice. And I love you."

"Yeah, I'm kinda crazy, but I love you too."

"Do you still have the divorce papers?" Vik asked, curious.

"Yeah, I haven't found the time to send them in... Why?"

"Can I have them..? There's something I need to change." Vik grabbed a pen.

Alice jogged to her room, grabbing the two papers that she'd left on her desk. Then, she ran them back to Vik.

"What do you need to change?" Alice sat down in her chair.

"I, Vikram, am taking the law in my own hands, and getting rid of these documents." He scribbled out his signature, and did the same to Alice's. He proceeded to rip the documents in half.

"Vik!" Alice yelled, taking the ripped documents from his hands. She had to admit, she didn't really care he ripped them up. She so desperately wanted to be his again, but Josh would never allow them to be together, her relationship with Simon would be done, and Ethan would be heartbroken.

It was either lose Josh, Ethan, and Simon and get back with Vik, or lose no one and stay with Simon for a little while. It was a big decision.

"What? I figured you'd want this?" Vik looked confused, but something in his eyes told her that it wasn't all confusion.

"Vik I can't be married to you again, I would hurt to many people..."

"Fuck the other people, as long as we have each other we are fine!"

"But those are your best friends, and I'm pretty sure you'd rather have them then lose them because of me..."

"Alright, Alice. I'll let you think about this. If you don't want to be my wife again, I'll get more divorce papers and we can fill them out again." Vik sighed.

"Thank you, Vik. I appreciate it. Really."

"Yeah, yeah." Vik laughed, smiling.

"Alright, I'm gonna go talk to Josh about everything. I feel as if I'm ready to talk through this with him." Alice made her way to the door, "I'll talk to you later?"

"Of course!" Vik called after her as she left the room.

"Okay!"

Alice crossed the hall to her brothers room, knocking on the door.

"Come in."

"Okay." She opened the door, stepping inside.

"Alice..." Josh stood, taking his headset off.

"Hi Josh... I think I'm ready to talk to you now."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to beat him up or hurt him it just kind of happen-"

"Stop, Josh. I understand. It's over, I'm ready to forgive you. What you did was wrong and not appropriate for the situation, but it's over." Alice sighed, "It's over."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Josh." Alice began to cry, sitting down on the bed.

"Oh, Alice." Josh sat down next to her, wrapping his arm around her.

"I don't even know what to do anymore. I just want to move out of the country and forget everything!" She sobbed into his chest.

"I know Ali. But you can't. Could you imagine how many people would miss you if you were gone?"

"But you'd all forget me. Sure I'd be a memory, but it wouldn't matter. I'd be happy. Don't any of you understand? If this were all over I'd be happy." Alice explained. All of it was true, Alice just wanted to die.

"Ali, listen to me. I don't give a fuck if you want to die. You won't. You will live your life and you'll be okay. I know it's not fun and it's not what you want, but if I know anything about you, it's that your strong as hell. You can do this. So listen to me, Ali. I love you. And your never ever going to leave me. I need you." Josh's eyes glossed over, he was about to cry.

"I just want it to be ov-"

"No! Alice! I fucking need you, and I can't live a day without you here. You brighten up my life even though I don't show it. Your my beautiful sister and to bad you can't ever tell me differently." He sobbed, taking in a few deep breaths.

"Josh, calm down!" Alice began to sob as well.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

"Josh! It's fine! Please, stop crying." Alice whipped a few tears from his cheeks.

"I am really sorry. It was just a 'oh, you hurt my sister now I hurt you' type thing. I didn't expect it to be that bad."

"Well it was, but it's over now... Your okay, Vik's okay... Everyone is okay. You can't beat yourself up about this. It's over. It's done." Alice wrapped an arm around his torso, smiling.

"We're okay."

"We're just fine."
