"Slouch a bit, and like, extend your legs. Yeah, now, one arm behind the chair, and one across your lap? Huh, no, put the lap-one over your head, like curled? Is that okay?"

"What kind of paint is that?"

"Acrylic, it's too fume-y for oils in here."

"What are you doing now?"

"Sketching your figure."

"Have you taken a lot of drawing lessons?"

"...mm, not lessons but more, studio time. My 'drawing lessons' consisted of drawing whatever the teacher wanted then getting feedback. These were private lessons, high school art was a nightmare."

"Did you ever draw naked people?"

"When I was seventeen I joined a figure drawing group at the local art college. There was a rotation of models."

"So, drawing people is your favourite?"

"Beats pear arrangements. Are you thinking about Cam?"

"Yes."
