chapter 22

Sam yanked dad off of the guy named Seth.
" Remember the law Jake" all of the wolves yelled at Dad.
I didn't understand what they were talking about.
Mom was looking at Jake who was pinning Seth against the wall. I started to cry.
Seth looked from me to dad. Dad let go of Seth. He -seth- rushed over to me and quickly wiped away my tears.
I don't know who he is, and if daddy attacked him, he is dangerous.
"Mommy Daddy" i cried.
"Shh little Kira. I'm not going to hurt you" Seth whispered.
Dad came and picked me up

"Seth isn't going to hurt you."
"But why did you attack him?"
Mom, Dad, and all of the wolves locked eyes.
"Kira your daddy is over protective. He hates when any boy seems to want to be near you." A guy Named Jared said.

Seth was always looking at me with soft brown eyes.
"Kir you will get used to him. I'm sure this isn't the last time you will see him." Mom said

I looked at her weird. I wished I knew what was going on like everyone else.
" Jacob don't you think that Seth will be a really good friend?"

" yes" dad muttered.

" Kira why don't you go outside, us adults need to talk." Sam said.

Mom put me down and I ran out the door. All of the homes around here are the same. Little shacks made of wood. Sam's home, a red color looks really old.

After I ran out I waited til the door closed and i hid underneath a window. I wanted to know what was going on and I was going to find out.

:...imprinting?" mom asked

" Yes Renesmee like Jacob did with you when you were born."

" i don't like it" i heard dad muttered

" Jacob. You imprinted on me."

" I know"

" Jake I promise not to hurt your daughter. I respect you but I'm not going to stay away from her."

" Yes you will"

" Can you stay away from Ness?"

No one spoke after that.

" Fine, but this has to be kept a secret."

I heard the door open, and Seth walked out and stopped when he seen me

" you heard" not sounding like a question.

I looked down not knowing what to say.

He sighed

" what is Impintling?" i whispered

" i dont think your mommy and daddy want to know"

" can you tell me?"

" dont tell them that you know okay?"

" ok"

" imprinting is hard to explain"
"I have read many books. I'm older mentally then how I look."

"Okay... imprinting, we really don't know why it happens. Take and look at your parents Jacob imprinted on Ness. Imprinting is bacially like finding a soulmate."
"Wait like mom and dad..?"
"No not like that." He laughed
"I will refuse to leave your side. You won't have to worry about fears or anything. From watching Jake with your mom, im assuming I'll act like an older brother around you. Then in the future I may love you like how your dad loves your mom. I'll always be your friend Kira."
"So your never leaving?"
"Nope"
This was to much to take in.

Dad walked out of the house. One glance at Seth was all it took.
"You told my daughter?"
" yes"
"I strictly said not to"
I started crying. I hated being as smart as at least a 15 year old but feelings like my 5 year old self.
"Kira shh" seth said whispering.
"Seth" dad yelled
"Daddy I was listening"
"You were?"
" I know you imprinted on mommy"
"Yes"
"Why do you get mad at Seth?"
Dad didn't say anything
