I clearly know that love is not reliable, but I still jump headfirst into it.

"Jin, where are you?" She spoke into the phone, her other hand was tapping impatiently on the glass coffee table. "I'm still out with the boys, don't wait up Jagiya, you have a paper tomorrow!" She could almost hear the smile he had on now. Once he called her that, she realised she could let out the truth. She knew the truth yet, she's still wrapped around his finger. Weakly, she smiled before answering, "yeah.. I will see you soon then, right?" "Yes, Jagiya, I promise you. Love you!" "Love you too Jin."

.

If sincerity can't even be given in love, then it's really just a joke.

Once she hung up the phone, the tears dropped as she sat down on the bed. She knew the truth so why she couldn't leave him? She knew that he wasn't with the boys, he was with his other girl. She knee it since the day he came home with lipstick stains on the collar of his white button up. She knew it since the day she caught the scent of the woman's perfume on him. She knew it since the day she found a single earring on the bad they shared. Realising this fact, she immediately jump out of the bed as fast as she could. How could he bring her to their house and onto their shared bed? How could he still look at her without guilt? She had saw the love he once had for her disappear from his eyes. He had once promised eternity. She knew she couldn't keep his heart and she was going to break hers more if she doesn't end it. But she can't face reality. Not now, not yet.

.

If you love too much, it's too easy to let yourself be sacrificed.

As the photos in her palm slip off one by one, she saw what they could have been. She knew she had to end this earlier, yet, she couldn't bring herself to do it. She would rather give herself up instead of breaking up with the one. She once thought he deserved the world, so she did gave him it.

It's too easy to let yourself sink too deep.

"Maybe it's just one time, Jin wouldn't do this to me. If he did, he would apologise to me already." She tried to convince herself even though the truth was right smack in her face. Dates of the pictures that were taken were included on the bottom. She refused to let her perfect image of Jin be ruined by reality. Not now, not yet.

It's too easy to ignore everything and end up scarred.

She wiped her tears off her face and quickly picked up the stack of photos. Jin would be home any minute, he can't know that she knew the truth. He would break up with her. As she shoved the stack of photos into the bottom drawer, Jin opened the door to the apartment of the house. "Jagiya, I'm home!" She can't lose him. Not now, not yet.

.

"Jagiya, what are you doing?" She covered her mouth to muffle the shock that came out of her mouth. Any other moments, her heart would have fluttered and she would smile. But this nickname wasn't directed to her, it was directed to his other woman. She saw how his eyes shined bright, with love, the one that she had lost along the years. She saw how he hugged her. She wrapped her arms around her body. She missed his touch. She missed his kisses. She missed his smiles. She missed him.

Couldn't watch the scene in front of her any longer, she quietly walked out of the house, going to the near by park to get fresh air. When she came home an hour later, she was surprised that Jin was on the couch, watching tv instead of being out. "Hey." He smiled at her as he turned his attention back to the tv while she hanged her coat on the coat hanger. As she stared at him, for that split second, she made up her mind. Daringly, she walked over to him and sat beside him on the couch. "Can we just go cuddle tonight? Just hold me." Her request was simple, so Jin did.

.

When Jin arrived home from practice the next day to change clothes before meeting the other woman, he felt that the atmosphere was different. With a heavy heart, he walked into the shared bedroom. The room was stripped bare of her existence. Photo frames that used to hold pictures of them were empty, waiting for a new picture to be in them. Her charger was gone too.

He opened the closet, only to see her side empty. He opened the cupboard under the sink, only to see her belongings all gone, even her face wash. He opened the storeroom, only to see her luggages and all her bags gone. As he opened the drawers, his heart dropped further down. When he got to the last one, he prayed that this would change the whole situation he was in right now. This was the last one.

As he opened, he gasped as he saw the photos scattered inside. She knew. She knew it all along. Why didn't she say something? Why didn't she cry out loud? Why did she chose to leave him quietly instead of confronting him? Unknowingly, the first tear flowed down his face as he got on his knees when he stared at the photos. His shaky hands crumpled the piece of paper that was laid on top of the evidence as he picked it up.

As the tear dropped from his face and onto the paper, his facial expressions and feelings mirrored the girl's one as she written that one sentence onto the cream paper. She had only used this thick and limited paper of hers for special occasions. She got it when she went overseas and realised that it couldn't be found anywhere else so she treated it like it was a masterpiece. To her, this plain piece of paper was art and deserves the finest words on it. He knew that there was no turning back as he read the sentence, his tear smudged the end of the last word.

" Perhaps eternity isn't so-called "everlasting". "
