Catastrophe of Life and Death
Her heartbeat falters
as she staggers towards her final breath.
Too late for silly love songs.
Opening her heart to a painless death.
The scars of their love
reminds her of Romeo’s blood.
Juliet flown away on butterfly wings,
drowning In her final flood.
Open minds, with a different view.
Her paper heart torn to pieces.
Tasting the blood in her tears.
Old habits grown into nothing new.
Seasons come, seasons go.
Butterfly love thrown away.
Silly dreams about silly love songs.
Living life their way.
They trust in whom they are.
Taking their final breath.
Shedding their final tears,
in this catastrophe of life and death.
