    "Good morning Jane."

"Good morning Professor, I have something for you."

"Ah, your essay. Waiting until the last day, cutting it a little close aren't we? And it's really thick. Do you think that you've convinced me that you've changed?"

"I waited until the last day Professor, because I wanted to make sure I learned everything that I needed to learn. And... I hope I will convince you that I've changed."

"What makes you think that you will?"

"Because this is my story. My entire journey in this class. Lessons that I've learned inside and outside of this class, all because of you."

"Flattering me? Okay, I hope your paper is as good as you think it is. Well, since you're the only one here - I want to wish you good luck in all of your future endeavors."

    "Thank you Professor."

"Oh, by the way... Have you read Alexander's paper?"

    "Yes, I have."

    "Have you talked to him?"

    "No."

    "It's been a week."

"I can't, I feel too ashamed, for judging him so harshly. The things I said the last time I saw him... I don't think he can forgive me."

"You never know until you try."

    "Thanks again Professor. For everything."

    "It was my pleasure."

"Okay, well I have an engagement party to get to. I'll see you around Professor."

"Goodbye Nic, I'm always here if you need me."

    "Goodbye Professor."

Professor Ortiz shook my hand before I left the classroom. I looked back and thought about everything that's happened - who knew after sixteen weeks, everything would change.

I walked toward the Café de Amor, thinking about what my future will bring. I'm sure I'll be happy, and hopefully Xander is too. My feet seemed to jump for joy with every step I took on my way to the café - it was as if they knew that my future, my true love, is waiting for me there.

When I walked into the café, the bitter sweet smell of coffee took me back to when I first came here - everything is different from then. It is so much busier than it was before, but today is a special day.

Then I saw Nat and Martin, and she immediately ran up to me when she saw me, and Martin slowly followed with a huge smile on his face.

    "Bestie!"

    "Hey Nat!"

"I'm so glad you could make it!"

"Of course Nat! I would never miss my best friend's engagement party! Congratulations to the both of you!"

    "Thanks Bestie!"

    "Thanks Nic."

"You better take care of her Martin."

"I think she's the one that wears the pants in this relationship Nic."

    "Stop it Marty."

"No, but in all seriousness Nic, if it wasn't for you introducing us - I never would've met Natallia. And if you didn't help me with the engagement, I wouldn't have been able to ask her to spend the rest of my life with me."
