Chapter 7. Answers

Aphmau's POV

I've managed to calm down just a little bit. I don't think there is much calming down that is to be had. I can't believe I cried in front of Garroth. Hes going to unfriend me before I even tell him what happened. 

"Aphmau~sempai" A small voice says from outside my room, "Can kawaii~Chan come in?" I'm fine with Kawaii~Chan coming in but I don't want to stand up to unlock the door. I sit in my bed for a little longer before pulling myself up out of bed. I unlock the door and run back to my bed.

"Come in." I say quietly. I pull my blanket over my head. Kawaii~Chan quietly opens the door and celestia runs in and jumps on my bed. 

"Is Aphmau~Sempai okay?" Kawaii~Chan closes the door. I can hear her walk closer to the bed. 

I quietly sniffle, "No" Kawaii~Chan sits on the bed with me. 

"What happened at the boys house." Kawaii~Chan puts her hand on the part of the blanket that I'm under. I don't answer, and Kawaii~chan doesn't say anything. We just sit for a little. Tears are dried to my warm face. I take the blanket off my face. 

"No on did anything...I'm just afraid." Tears start flowing from my eyes again. Kawaii~Chan looks deep in thought. 

"Aphmau~Sempai! Kawaii~Chan has an Idea." She doesn't wait for me to ask her what it is to say it. "Maybe Aphmau~sempai can talk to the cat that turned her into a meif'wa and maybe the cat can change you back. 

"Kawaii~Chan! That's a great Idea!" I exclaim. If I can get the cat to somehow make sure I don't grow ears and a tail and then I won't ever have to tell Garroth about Sprinkles and then we can be friends forever. "I-I need to get ready." All I really need to do is brush my hair and I'm good. 

Oh, but If Garroth sees me walking down the street he'll follow me. "Kawaii~Chan can I borrow your coat?" The only way to mask myself from Garroth. He probably knows what my coat looks like and probably doesn't know what Kawaii~Chan's coat looks like. Even if he does he probably won't go after Kawaii~Chan.

"Sure Aphmau~Sempai." Kawaii~Chan runs to her room and comes back with her bright pink coat. 

"Thanks Kawaii~Chan" I put on the coat and run down the stairs. 

"Why did you just run upstairs like that?" Katelyn asks when I make it down the stairs. She pauses Once and turns to me. 

"I need to go" I say avoiding the question. Katelyn groans and goes back to watching t.v. I go out the door and pull the hood over my head. The cat lady's house is near Aaron's house. I only know that because when ever I walk past the house when I walk celestia all I hear is meowing. On occasion Celestia will walk to close to the woman's lawn and she'll yell at her. 

I wonder If she'll even let me talk to her, she probably hates me. Anyways I don't need to talk to her I guess, I need to talk to her cat, man that sounds weird.  I see the cat lady's house and probably 5 cats are in the lawn.

When I step onto the driveway the cats migrate to me. They sniff my legs and rub up against my shoes. I get to the door and knock. 

"Muffins you're not aloud outside!" I hear a voice yell. About a minute later the door opens. "Oh, hello your that one that lived with the one who babysat my babies." She's holding a orange cat. 

"Umm...Yeah about that could I see the cats that Kawaii~Chan babysat that day?" I ask awaiting a no. 

"My precious cats seemed to like you. They told me themselves actually so, yes." The old woman goes into her house, "Stay there" She closes the door. I stand outside her door awkwardly. I can't believe she actually said yes. I guess she knows they can talk too and she doesn't mind. 

Well if you love cats that much I don't think them talking would have much of a negative impact. It would actually make me love the cat even more. Just having little conversations with a cat about yarn.  That would be adorable. 

The old woman comes back out and 13 cats burst out. "I'll leave you guys to talk." The woman goes back into the house. "Flowerbud stop eating my pants!!!"

"So look who's here!" one of the cats say. 

"The silly human with the annoying dog." another says. 

"I wonder why she's here, she obviously doesn't like us." A third says. 

"Look guys." I pull of my hood and pull off my beanie. "This morning I woke up and I had cat ears growing from my head." 

"Roxy!" One of the kittens say. Before my eyes the brown kitten that turned me into a cat turns into a human. She has silk brown hair and small big brown ears on top of her head. 

"Y-Your a meif'wa?" I stutter.

"We're all Meif'was but we choose to stay in our cat forms because we like them better. Cats are far superior to humans, no offence. Plus this human gives us warm milk and tuna." She walks closer to me and inspects my ears. 

A black and white cat turns into a human too. Her hair is pitch black and her ears are snow white. "It looks like you did the magic wrong and accidentally infused her with meif'wa essence." She says.

"I was thinking the same thing. Maybe if I can withdraw the essence than you won't become a meif'wa. I can tell you don't want to become a meif'wa but I can tell you being a meif'wa is quite cool. Come back here tomorrow and I should have something that could help you." Both the meif'was turn back into their cat forms and go inside. 

I guess I need to come back tomorrow.  Hopefully they can find a way to turn me back into a human.
