Chapter 20

LISA'S POV:

Christina, Dani and I stopped ignoring Lauren since we know what's bothering her. We decided to not tell the police cause we all saw how scared Lauren was. Christina and I got back from work really late. Mom is out, Dani was watching tv in the living room but we didn't see Lauren.

Hey Dan- I said

Hey- She said

Where's Lauren?- Christina asked

Upstairs with Mason- Dani said and we nodded. Christina decided to make dinner while I walked upstairs to take a shower. I walked to my room when I heard Mason and Lauren talking but I heard Lauren crying so I decided to listen to what they were saying

Lauren it's going to be ok- Mason said

But they will be so mad! How could I forget something like that!- Lauren cried. Where are they talking about?!

Lauren whatever is going to happen I'm going to help you get through this- Mason said. Wait she isn't pregnant, right?!

How am I going to tell my sisters and mom this?- Lauren cried

They'll understand- Mason said

No they won't, they're going to be disappointed in me!- Lauren cried. I banged inside the room and saw Lauren crying in Mason's arms

What's going on?!- I asked worried. God please don't tell she's pregnant!

Well........uhm.......there was an accident- Mason said. Shit!

What accident?- I asked nervous

Well, I didn't mean to but!.....- Mason said but I cut him off

YOU GOT HER PREGNANT?!- I screamed mad. They looked at me shocked

What no!- They screamed. Christina and Dani ran inside looking confused

Why are you yelling?- Dani asked

Well.........I might have........overheard their conversation..........and I thought Mason got.........Lauren pregnant- I said. Christina grabbed Lauren's hair tight looking really mad

YOU ARE PREGNANT?!- Christina screamed

No! I'm not pregnant!- Lauren screamed. Christina let Lauren go and looked at me still mad

I overhead it wrong- I said and Christina's eyes widen and turned back to Lauren who was a little shaken up.

Lo I'm sorry- Christina said strocking Lauren's hair

It's ok- Lauren said

But why were you crying? And what were you guys talking about?- I asked

Well......Mason might have tackeld me at practise and I might have hurt my knee realt bad so I need a kneebrace for a month and that might mean that I can't play for the next match so that means I won't get money for playing- Lauren explained and we all sighed in relief

Why were you scared about that fact?- Dani asked

Well Mom will be mad cause I can't play and then she'll get mad and I though maybe you guys will be mad cause I made mom mad- Lauren said and we hugged her tight while Mason stood there watching us.

We would never get mad about something like that- Christina said

Well, I need to go, again I'm so sorry Lauren and I promise I'll make it up- Mason said pecking Lauren's lip twice. He left and I helped Lauren sit down.

Lauren........we're going to call Dad- Dani said and Lauren nodded. Christina called Kathrine

Hello?- Kathrine said, she was on the speaker

Kathrine........Mom......she hurts us again, she does it since Dani and Mom got back- I said

Does Dani hurt you guys too?- Kathrine asked worried

No she doesn't- Lauren said

I used to though but I stopped- Dani said and I smiled weakly at her. We know Dani still feels guilty for what she did to us but we always tell her we forgive her since we know she really regrets it. 

I'm telling Dad and we'll come as soon as we can- Kathrine said

Ok but Kathrine don't call Mom and tell her about this because she might freak out- Christina said

Ofcourse- Kathrine said and we hung up.

So this is a start?- Lauren asked and we smiled and nodded. We hugged each other and then Lauren and Dani did their homework while Christina and I just chillen. Then we had dinner, watched a movie and just went to bed. 

SKIPPING A WEEK

DANI'S POV:

my Dad, Kathrine and Mike arrived 5 days ago. They called the policer for Mom who arrested her. Christina, Lisa, Lauren and I need to go to the hospital to check all our wounds then we need to go to a therapist and see how we're mentally doing. I was with Mike, Dad, Kathrine and  Christina in the waiting room. Christina and I got checked on and we're OK. Christina has a few big wounds on her body but I'm OK. Lisa and Lauren have been inside for over a hour and we're getting worried. After a few mintues they finally got out the room. Lisa and Lauren walked to us and we got up

Are you guys OK?- Dad asked and they nodded

Yeah, I'm OK just a few wounds but Lauren has a lot of big wounds all over her body so they wrapped a few wounds so it won't get infected- Lisa said and we nodded. We drove to the therapist and it was really hard for Lauren. She broke down crying when she was done talking about what happened to her/us. She couldn't stop crying and it shocked the therapist a bit so he gave her a shot so she would fell asleep. Mike put Lauren on his lap and let her lean her head on his schoulder. She looked so broken, hurt, exhauted and depressed. 

Christina, Lisa and Dani are OK but Lauren is not well, she is mentally broken and it honestly scares me. She is really young and going through this all is too much to take for someone like her- The therapist said and they looked at Lauren. 

But what's going to happen with her now?- Dad asked

I advice you to take her on a trip, like a road trip for a couple days, let her relax and I also advice you to talk to her before she is going to sleep. Just let her cry, let her talk, not say anything just let her talk, even if she breaks down crying you need to let her be for now, she needs to let her emotions out otherwise I can't help her, it does help a lot for young people, do fun things with her and let her do what she wants and dont' force her to do anything- The therapist said and we nodded. We left the building while Mike carried a still sleeping Lauren to the van. He carefuly placed her on Kathrine's lap and then we drove back home. 

Is Lauren going to be OK?
