Chapter 4

LAUREN'S POV:

Today Mom and Dad are coming and I still haven't told the rest that Dani has been hurting me behind their back. It's nothing big but it still bothers me a lot. So we are all in the living room waiting for Mom and Dad to arrive. I was in Lisa and Christina's arms. Amy was in Kathrine's arms. Dani was on her phone. Joey was talking with Mike and Alex was talking with Nick and Christian. We are all really nervous and scared about how our parents are going to react. I looked at Lisa who smiled at me and kissed my forhead. School is closed for a month and the older onces don't have to work for a month too.

Do you think it's going to end well?- I asked

I don't know Lolo, I hope so- She said and then the door opened and our parents walked in. We all got up and I hold Lisa and Christina's hand tight. Dad closed the door and they faced us. Nobody said anything scared we would say something bad.

How are you?- Mom asked

Good- Mike said and they nodded

I see you are keeping up well without us- Dad said looking around the house. We just nodded and then Mom looked at me and smiled

I heard you're in college honey- She said and I nodded smiling weakly

I also heard you're the captain for your team- She added and I nodded again smiling

That's great to hear honey- Dad said smiling proudly. Mom opened her arms wanting a hug from me. I looked at Christina who looked mad which I didn't understand

Come on honey- Mom said and I let Lisa and Christina's hand go. I slowly walked towards her and when I reash her she hugged me. My Mom..........hugged me..............after years of getting beat up by her....................she was hugging me.

I missed you so much honey- She said hugging me tight. I hugged her back smiling

I missed you too Mom- I said. Dad joined the hug and I felt safe. We pulled away and they smiled at me.

Kids we are back but we can't be together so the boys, Kathrine and Amy are coming with me to Miami and Lauren, Christina, Lisa and Dani are staying with your Mom- Dad said and we gasped

No Dad please- Lauren said walking in fromt of him

I'm sorry honey but it the role for us coming back but I promise you can always visit and call and we will come to visit too I promise- He said and she nodded.

Go pack kids we're leaving tommorow- Dad said and the once going with Dad left to pack. I turned to face Christina and Lisa who hugged me tight and I broke down crying

They can't leave us, they just can't- I cried

shhhhhh, it's going to be OK Lolo we promise- Christina said rubbbing my back. I continued crying into her chest. After I calmed down I ran upstairs to Kathrine and Amy's room and jumped into Kathrine's arms as soon as we saw each other. Amy joined the hug and I didn't let them go for a while. When I finally pulled away I saw they cried. 

I promise I'll text or call every day and with breaks I'll come and visit- I said and they smiled

Thank you Lolo- Kathrine said and I smiled

Do you need help packing?- I asked and they nodded. I helped them and Christina and Lisa joined us after a while. When they were done I walked to the younger boys' room. I saw they were done packing and sitting on the ground looking sad. I knelt down next to Joey who had tears falling from his eyes and hugged him tight.

It's going to be OK right?- Christian asked and I nodded

I hope so- I said and they smiled and all hugged me. I decided to cheer them up and tickeld Nick, he start to laugh and his face turned red from laughing so much.

JOEY CHRISTIAN HELP!- He said and then Joey and Christina start to tickle me. I start to laugh and Nick joined them, I fell on my back while they continued. 

Alright guys let her breath- I heard Mike say and they stopped. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much. When I managed to breath normal again I got up and hugged Mike

Let's go to my room to talk- He said and I nodded. We walked to his and Alex's room and sat down on his bed. 

Look Lauren, I want you to stay strong even if most of us aren't with you OK. You grow up a lot this year and became much stronger but I know you're going to take this really hard. Christina and Lisa are going to help you and we'll try to help you as much as we can if you need our help. But you need to promise us that you'll let us help you and you'll tell us when something or someone is bothering you.- He said. I teared up and looked down, he hugged me tight and wiped my tears away

Why can't they just stay together?- I asked and he sighed

I talked with Dad and he tried to stay together but they didn't allow him and Mom didn't want to- Mike said which confused me

Why didn't Mom want to be with Dad?- I asked

I don't know, she said something about being afraid to fight again- He explained and I nodded

But listen, I want you to finish your school and become whatever you want, I want you to make me even more proud than I already am, I know Dani is going to bother you but Lisa and Christina will try to stop her, they don't work that much so they'll look for you since we know you won't let Mom help you that much- Mike said and I nodded
