❣I've decided to make another chapter about this❣
Finnick and I sit on his bed, my hands getting red from tying and untying knots with the rope, I'm going to have my Peeta back, in the first games I was so focused on making sure I get home and win for Prim that, I didn't know the love he was providing but since he hit the shield in the second games and he stopped breathing then I knew, I can't survive without my boy with bread, I love Gale too but that's different, Peeta I realise I love in a lover way, Gale and I's love well at least my love for him is like how a sister loves her brother.
The door slides open and Haymich is trying to catch his breath, Finnick and I know already, they're back, a voice in my head says, Peetas back, I sprint to the hospital ward, Finnick not far behind and we enter, doctors running around, ordering nurses to do what
"Finnick!" A woman's voice exclaims
"Annie" he whispers
"Finnick!" She rips the cords out of her arms and Finnick smiles
"Annie!" He exclaims and she jumps on him where they have a heated kissing session, I keep walking, past all the doctors and hear a voice, I turn and see Johanna yelling at the doctors saying she's fine, she looks horrible, scars and bruises, her hair is all gone leaving her bold, she just smirks at me, I ignore her and keep walking down, away from where it's less crowded, I spot Gale, a nurse fixing his wound, I just nod at him, I'll thank him later, I'm just focusing on finding where Peeta is and that's when I see Haymich, waiting by a door, wow, he got here quick, I walk up to Haymich and he smiles
"The boys in here sweetheart, you ready" he asks, should I do this? I don't know if I should
"Listen they've put him to sleep to work on his wounds, he'll be waking and if you want to be the first face he sees then you have to get in there" Haymich encourages and I nod sliding the door open to see doctors finishing up with him, his eyes sealed shut
"How long till he wakes up?" I ask a doctor
"About four-five hours" he replies
"Do you mind if I just stay here and hold his hand?" I ask and he smiles and nods, he shoo's everyone out and shuts the door, I pull a metal chair over using my foot, sit down and hold Peetas hand.

Katniss lays there, holding Peetas hand, sleeping, it's about 10:30 P M and Peeta stirs and his eyes flutter open, looking around in a unfamiliar room, he feels someone holding his hand, he looks down and smiles, seeing the raven coloured hair which belonged to Katniss, all he hears is quiet, only the ticking noise of the clock is heard, the doctors and nurses sleeping as the curfew is 9:15 if earlier then 8:30, he tries to move his hand which Katniss was currently laying on, without waking her, obviously that was impossible because once he moves his hand the slightest, she jolts up, she looks to Peeta meeting his eyes, which aren't the ocean blue full of sparkles and happiness, full of sadness and pain, his eyes are like the colour of the ocean when it's night and the moon doesn't shine on it, it makes Katniss even more upset knowing he's still in pain, if not physically then emotionally, they done terrible things to him in the Capitol
"Hey" she smiled tiredly and he let a forced smile appear on his face but Katniss just frowns
"I shouldn't have let you stay, I should've tried harder" Katniss' eyes start too tear up and hesitantly places a hand on her cheek, seeing her lean in his touch he rubs away a stray tear
"I'm okay, I'm fine" he comforts and she shakes her head
"Your not, your eyes don't have the same happiness and sparkly look, filled with sadness and pain" she replies and he knows it's true, Katniss does the thing she's been wanting to do for a while, she kisses him, surprised he kisses back, a hand on her cheek
"I love you" she whispers and smiles when his eyes open, staring into a beautiful blue like she used to see, he smiles and kisses her
"I love you" he replies and she crawls in the hospital bed with him, she has her boy with bread back and she's not letting him go easily this time.
