Finally With You Again (Nalu)

Chapter forty one- Happy Birthday

   "How old?"

   "Six!"

   "I'm still older than you!"

   "W-Whatever!"

Nashi and Lucas turned their backs and pouted. 

   "Stop fighting you two."

   "The cake's ready!"

Mira handed pieces to all the kids first, then the adults. Jack set between Gray and Juvia, Rikka and Nashi both sat next to Erza, and Ellie sat with Mira. Lucas sat next to Natsu. 

   "Hey, dad!"

   "Yea-"

Lucas shoved the cake in his face, and everyone started laughing. 

   "Oh, you're gonna pay for that!"

Natsu reached over, grabbed my cake, and smeared it across his face. 

   "Why'd you use my cake!?"

Lucas grabbed Natsu's piece, and threw it. Nastu dodged, and it hit Nashi, causing frosting to spread in her hair. 

   "Lucas!"

She threw her piece, but missed, making it hit Jack. 

   "Hey!"

Soon everyone was throwing cake, even the adults. Looks like I'm going to have a mess to pick up later. 

   "O-Okay! Lets open presents!"

Everyone stopped, and Nashi and Lucas smiled. 

   "Mine first!"

   "No way! I'm older!"

   "By a few minutes!"

   "I'm still better."

   "No you're not!"

   "Ye-"

   "You can both open a present at the same time!"

I handed them each a gift, and they tore it open. Nashi pulled out a new dress, and Lucas got a new poster. 

   "Alright! Dad look!"

On it was a red dragon from his favorite show.

   "Hey! I wanted that poster."

Its also Natsu's favorite show. 

   "Nastu, its a kids poster."

   "So! I still like it!"

Letting out a sigh, I continued handing them their gifts. When they were finally done, I had them take everything to their room. 

   "Come on, Rikka! Me and Ellie are gonna go play!"

   "Okay!"

They ran off, leaving Lucas and Jack. 

   "Why don't you guys go play?"

   "No way!"

   "I don't wanna play with him."

   "Why not?"

   "He always takes my favorite toy!"

They started glaring again, and Laxus picked them both up by the back of their shirts. 

   "Stop arguing. We've had enough that from you're fathers."

Natsu and Gray looked at each other, and rolled their eyes.
