I found myself in front of Trent’s hotel on hour later. I let myself cry on the way here, so now my eyes were just red and puffy. I slowly walked to the doors, where a man held the door open for me. I started toward the elevator before I was stopped.

“Excuse me Miss, but you must have special access or staying here to go to a room,” he said politely, yet still managed to look at me like I was filth.

“Look I don’t want to start anything, but it’s barely nine and if you can’t tell I’m already having a crappy day. I just want to see my boyfriend; he told me to stop-by whenever I needed,” I pleaded.

He carefully looked me over behind the counter and asked, “Name?”

     “Annabel Lee,” I sighed.

He started typing in the computer before the phone rang. “Amador Hotel, how may I help you?” There was some mumbling on the other side. He looked at me with wide eyes and I returned a confused look. “Of course, no problem.” Another pause. “You’re most welcome sir.” He hung up the phone and turned back to face me. “I’m so sorry Ms. Lee, Mr. Millington won’t be back until one. But you are more than welcome to go up to his room. The keys.”

“Thank-you,” I said taking the keys cautiously.

When I got to the room I couldn’t help but gawk. Right in front of me was  an entryway then a large archway that led to the living area. I walked in more and to the right of the living area was a small kitchen. Then I saw two more doors in front of me that I assumed were the bedrooms.

I walked to the kitchen to explore more and saw a note on the counter. ‘Annabel- this is Jerome since your lazy arse boyfriend is still sleeping. Help yourself to the food in the fridge, room service and TV…just no naughty movies! We’ll be back around one.’ I couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle at him.

I went to the living room and turned on the TV, trying to keep myself distracted. By the time lunch rolled around I had six texts and ten calls from my mom and one text from my dad. I opted not to read them and got up to make lunch, not wanting them to pay for my meal.

I found everything for a grilled cheese and forced myself to eat, not that hungry anymore. I went back to the living room and started watching Silver Linings Playbook. Soon enough I was asleep on the couch.

“Annabel,” I heard someone whisper. I just grunted and turned over. He chuckled. “C’mon Annabel, I wanna show you something.”

“What?” I mumbled, turning my head back to face him.

“Uh-uh. Open your eyes and get up.”

“Fine,” I grumbled, opening my eyes. “What do you want to show me?”

“Nothing.” He smiled and bent down to kiss me.

“Jerk,” I laughed and sat up properly.

“Now being serious. You came here because you found out.” It wasn’t a question; it was a statement. I didn’t answer right away hearing Jerome and Lexi in the kitchen.

“Partially,” I bit my lip. He gave me an inquisitive look. “Later.” He seemed to understand when they came into the living room with drinks.

“You do know what will happen right? The paparazzi and press will want to know every detail of your life no matter how insignificant and make it sound good or bad. I don’t know how the fans will react. Your life will be crazy, hectic and anything but normal. I want you to stay you,” he said while cupping my face.
