CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE: OF PRESIDENTIAL STRATEGY, FALLEN KINGS, AND THE GIRL AT THE CENTER OF IT ALL
THIRD PERSON POV
Inside the High Chamber, it was chaos from the start. The council room—usually cold, pristine, and too quiet—was buzzing with whispers and rising panic. The faculty advisor was already seated at the head of the table, massaging his temples, clearly stressed beyond saving.
Bianchi Madriaga sat near the front, jaw clenched tight, arms crossed, and her eyes? Kept darting toward the entrance every five seconds like she was waiting for a ghost to appear.
And the other council members? Panicking.
"It's trending everywhere—"
"The Headmaster's son throwing punches—"
"Saichel Andreau Levesque is no longer a student of SAA."
"Xythe Nathaniel Alcantara?! He wasn't even supposed to step inside the campus—"
"This is going to reach the board."
Then the doors opened.
Khaizer Dylan Dela Vega walked in. Calm. Steady. Unbothered. Like he had all the time in the world.
The moment he entered, silence swept across the room. Of course they noticed. Because wherever Khaizer Dylan walked, people either followed—or froze.
He didn't sit right away. He simply scanned the room with those sharp, cold eyes of his.
"Are you done panicking?" Khaizer asked, voice quiet but heavy enough to shut everyone up in an instant.
Dead silence.
He finally sat down at the head of the table—cool, composed, leaning back slightly as if this was just another boring meeting.
The faculty advisor cleared his throat, trying to act in control.
"President Dela Vega, we need to discuss the Sovereign Court incident immediately. This has gone beyond campus boundaries. The board's already hearing about it. Multiple students are involved. Violence on school grounds. Social media exposure. This isn't something we can cover up anymore."
But Khaizer's face? Still unreadable.
No shift. No reaction. It was like they were just talking about lunch.
When the advisor finally stopped, KD casually tapped his fingers on the table—tick, tick, tick—before speaking.
"First," he began, voice calm and steady, "remove the narrative that this was a student altercation."
Everyone blinked.
"What?" a council member choked out.
"President—Khaizer, we can't just—"
"You're overreacting," Bianchi cut in, her voice sharp but careful, watching KD closely. "You can't just erase physical assault from the record just because you said so."
Khaizer's cold stare flicked to her—just once. It was enough. She shut up instantly.
Khaizer's next words were slow, deliberate.
"This wasn't a student dispute," he said, every word colder than the last. "This was an unauthorized intrusion on school grounds by a non-enrolled individual."
Gasps filled the room.
"Technically... he is right," someone whispered, stunned.
Khaizer didn't blink.
