Three months later...

I drove to the hospital and as soon as I arrived, I went to Alexis' room.

"Hey"

"I've enjoyed these visits for the past three months"

"But the more I see you,  the more I miss hearing your voice"

"The doctor said that people give up on their loved ones, but I'm not going to give up on you .Not now.Never.You're THE ONE .The person I stay up at night thinking about.The one I share bizzare stories with.The person I text at 3am .The person I'd want to die with.I love you Alexis. "

I stared at her for a second and a tear slipped down her cheek.

"DOCTOR SHE JUST-"

"What happened?"

"I w-was talking to her and she teared"

"There's a possibility that she will wake up anytime now"

"Wait she's waking up" the doctor said

"Are her parents here?" I questioned

"They're at the cafeteria.I'll call them up"

"She's awake" I cried

She's back  .

"Mom?Dad?Where am I?" She questioned.

"You're at the hospital. Youve been asleep for about three months"

"You mean I was in a coma?"

"Yeah"

She scanned the room and her eyes met mine.

"Ethan?" She cried

"I'll give you two some privacy" her mom said

"I've missed you.  A lot"

"But the last thing I rememembered was seeing you with Dakota"

"She did that just to get you mad.It was dumb. I know, but she has been visiting you whenever she could.And your basketball scholarship was moved for next week  along with me and Grayson's tours.Just so I could stay with you "

"You're still cheesy like I remembered"she chuckled

"And uh,what day is it?" She questioned

"Sunday"

"so I'm leaving tomorrow?"

"Yeah.Grayson and I are leaving tomorrow as well.Our first stop is Cali.Then Chicago"

"What do you want to do before we leave?" She questioned getting off the bed.

"Hold that thought.I better get changed "

She came out of the restroom she was changing in and we exited the room.

"Okay,so I could go out until six, so what do you want to do until then?"

"There's the Valentines fest at our school"

"I've never been to any of our school's activities so,  how was it?"

"I dunno.I was hoping you did"

"Lets just see for ourselves" she replied with a grin

We entered the school gates and the smell of cotton candy and kettle corn filled our noses.

"Looks pretty interesting" I said

"Typical valentines fair.They have a tunnel of love and those games where you'd win a stuffed animal for your significant other.Cheesy.Like someone I know"she chuckled.

Just then,  we we're approached by one of the members of Dakota's clique.

I'm pretty sure her name was Demetria.

"Hi Alexis.I'm Demetria.You probably don't know me but,I'm one of Dakota's friends and she's really sorry for what she did a while back"

" no hard feelings.  I mean it was a while back"

"Okay,that's good to know. I hope you two have a good night"

"Likewise"

Alexis and I roamed walked aimlessly around the courtyard.We decided to play a little ball toss game. I went first.

"One dollar for three balls" the Carney spoke

"Here ya go"

I knocked down all three of the cans with a single hit and won a white stuffed bear.I handed it to Alexis and we walked around for a while until we got a little hungry.

"Corn dogs or cheese fries?" I questioned

"Surprise me "

She walked to a nearby bench and I walked to a food Booth.

I got the food and made my way towards her.

"I got cheesefries"

"Thanks"

We ate away and then we noticed that it was 5:21 .

"Do you wanna like"
"Go into the tunnel of love?"

"Why not?"

We walked towards the huge tent and paid the Carney ten dollars.

It was a boat that was supposed to go around this tent,so we hopped into one of them.

It started to move a while after,then we entered this velvet colored cave.hanging hearts,Cupid's,robotic couples basically anything valentines day related.

"So,how do you like the ride so far?" I asked

"It's great. I got a pretty good view."

"Of what?"

"My God damned self" she chuckled

"Ah,whenever I'm with you, it's always a good time"

"I agree Ethan Grant"
