GRAYSON

"Gray,honey.What do you think about this one?" My mom asked with a  plaid button up in hand.

"Uh...it seems okay,but maybe I could look for something else" I replied with a fake apology grin.

"Hurry up,we don't have all day Grayson Bailey."
"Sorry mom,but I promise I'll make it quick" I replied.

I sprinted towards the casual and some what formal mens' section and rummaged through the various styled clothes,until I found a swamp green jacket,a Grey tee & loose fitted jeans.

"Perfect" I murmured.

I sprinted towards  Ethan & my parents and walked with them."Found whatchu' were looking for?" Ethan questioned."Yep" I replied.

We walked for a few minutes and made it to the cashier.We each placed our garments onto the table,and waited for all of them to get scanned.

A few minutes later

"Have a nice evening and come again!" The cashier said as we walked out."Huh,so it seems like we have 15 minutes.Wanna look around boys?" My dad said while glancing at his watch."Nah,I'm done for the night" I said exhaustedly."Same here" Ethan added."Okay,let us go then" my mom said .

We left the mall and walked towards our car.I hopped in and went onto my phone activating iTunes.I listened to a few songs by Fetty Wap &  soulja boy,but by the time the fifth song,'I wonder' by Fetty WAP ended, we were already home.
I got out with our bags of clothes,and entered the house to see Cameron knocked out on the couch."psst,Gray.Vine time?" Ethan asked with a smirk."No,leave her be." I said loud enough for only Ethan to hear."You're no fun bro." "Yeah,but I am sure as hell,very respectful." I chuckled."Whatever,man.And where are my cloth-.Holy shit,there are brownies!"Ethan exclaimed ."Hmm,there's also a note." I said as I examined the tray."These are from Alexis." I added.They must be good.

6 minutes later ...

As I finished the last brownie,I reviewed a text from Alexis.I changed her name in my contacts from Alexis L. To  Queen A.

Queen A. - hey Gray,can't make it this Saturday.My parents are forcing me to attend a stupid banquet.I'm sorry.

Queen A.- but maybe I can work something out ; hehe

Me : don't get yourself in too much trouble. Goodnight,love you.

Queen A. - Love you more ♥

I turned off my phone and glanced at my watch.Seeing that it was 8:26,I went upstairs and slumped myself onto my bed.I started to imagine what trick Alexis could have up her sleeve.I stopped thinking about that for a moment,and fell asleep.

The next day • Friday -5:58 am

As I woke up,I saw that it was almost 6:00,so I got ready for school.I showered and put on a white tee,with jeans and dark converse,then attempted to wake up Ethan.I tried shaking him.Slapping him.But I never tried one thing yet.
As sneaky as I am,I tip toed down stairs,went to the water dispenser with a cup,and filled it up half way.I went upstairs quietly and made my way to the room.I walked towards him and towered over him,then poured it on his face."HOLY CRAP" Ethan exclaimed."Shut up,it was just a joke dude." I chuckled.

"I know,but I nearly drowned man" Ethan argued."Fine,Im sorry " I said apologetically.

As Ethan got cleaned up and dressed,we went downstairs to get a quick bite."Granola bar,milky way?" Ethan asked."Milky way" I said laughing.
He tossed me the milky way and I immediately devoured it.We grabbed our bags and walked out.I checked my watch and saw that it was only 6:20,(gates open @ 7:30)but since Ethan and I walk to and from school,we needed this much time.We grabbed our long boards, and walked out.

This was our usual routine,so we didn't have to remind our parents.

We made it to the side walk and placed our boards on the ground and pushed off.

Skip trip to school --

As we pulled up to the front gates,we picked up our boards and entered .We walked up to the entrance door,and to our hall ways.I went to my locker, and put my board inside and grabbed my Computer Science notebook,along with my L.a notebook,and gym clothes.I shut it,and locked it,them walked to the library.It was 7:34,and the first bell was at 8:15,so I had a fair amount  of time.

As I entered,I saw Alexis on one of the laptops.I walked up and sat beside her."Morning babe" I greeted."Morning Gray" she replied looking up from the screen."So what's your plan?" I questioned ."I'll say I'm sick. Always works" she said with a smirk."Plan B?" I asked while arching my eyebrow."Uh,don't have one.." She said shyly."It's good that you have one ready in case" I informed.She agreed,and we just sat there and talked to each other.

The bell rang several minutes later,and we headed to our fifth periods.(a/n:they use block schedules in this story btw)

I had Language arts,and Alexis had Art.I honestly hated LA.The teacher,the class,everything! It made my mornings like hell.

And as I walked in,I saw Dakota and her clique.Gross.I walked past her and sat at my assigned seat.She had to go to the bathroom,so I didn't have to see her for the first half of class.

ALEXIS
As I walked into the girls restroom,I placed my book bag atop the sink counter,and took out my phone.I recieved a text from Grayson saying

Grayson: Halp me.I'm in LA rn.

Me:Donut worry,it'll go by fast.

I turned off my phone and then put it into my bag.I left my bag,and did my business.I flushed ,and then I heard someone fidgeting with a zipper.I walked out and saw that my bag had been rummaged through!I checked to see if anything went missing,my notebooks.still here.My pencil case.still here.My phone.Not here! I was annoyed and creeped out at the same time.I didn't put a password on my phone,so the stealer must've unlocked it by now.But who tf could've done this ?
