Grayson's POV

Wow..she just..smiled back at me. Alexis had the most beautiful smile in the world.I swear to god ,I would've beaten up Ethan ,but for the sake of Alexis,I couldn't. Ethan decided to crush on one of the snobbiest girls in school instead. I have liked Alexis since the day we met,and she has had no clue.

I decided to walk her home even though it wasn't that far. She decided to change routes and have us hang out at the community park for a while.We rode our penny boards to the park because it was farther from our houses.
As soon as we reached our destination,Lex decided to hang out by the swings.As we swung,we talked about very little things. Like our everyday lives.Alexis did most of the talking,meanwhile I just sat there ,getting lost in her hazel eyes like I always did whenever I got the chance to .

26 minutes later

We decided to go home.I dropped her off at her front porch and left.

Alexis' POV

After Grayson dropped me off I went to the living room.I didn't feel so bad after he stuck with me.I thought it was sweet.I slumped myself onto my couch and went on my phone.I went on Snapchat and sent ugly photos to my friend Jeanette.She later responded by sending me another ugly photo .I decided to respond..again,but then I accidentally sent it to GRAYSON!Just then,he replied.
The picture he sent had the caption ' purrtyy ' . I sent him 5 laughing emojis because of how funny it was to think that I was pretty.

later on,I decided to sleep because it was already 9:14 .I dozed,and forgot about the traumatic episode that happened earlier this morning.

Sunday

As I yawned and stretched from waking up from a blissful sleep,I looked out my window to see the baby blue sky.Today was also mall day for me and Jeanette.We were each going to bring 105 dollars because of how rad the items at the mall were.Luckily parents were so generous to give us so much.
I decided to wear dark skinny jeans with a white T-shirt,a red flannel around my waist and a pair of white low cut converse.I called Jeanette a few minutes after I ate breakfast.
Alexis : Jeanette, are you almost ready??
Jeanette: sorry I'm late ,but I'll bee there in like 4 minutes,k?
Alexis: okay ,but hurry up woman!

7 minutes later
" IM HERE!" Jeanette hollered from down stairs.
"IM COMING!" I yelled.My mom was mad at the both of us,so we had to stay for another 4 minutes.After that lecture,we were off.Jeanette was the only one of us who had a license,so she had to drive.It took us about 7 minutes to get to the mall because of traffic,and another 3 minutes to find a parking space.After all of that ,we went inside and saw that it wasn't as crowded.While we were walking,Jeanette and I were talking about random stuff.She later asked me how it went with the whole 'confession to Ethan ' .I told her about it,but then quickly shut up because I saw Dakota.If you ever saw her face,I'm pretty sure you'd confuse her with Sasquatch.I didn't get why Ethan liked her. She was mean and annoying and all things bad.We tried to avoid her, but she tried to approach us.And as she did,I heard a familiar voice."Dakota wait up!" "D-Dakota!" I wanted to literally die . It was Ethan ."Hey bit- oh ,hey Ethan!" Dakota said squealing."Hey Dakota,oh Hi Alexis" As he finished speaking,Ethan came over to me and whispered "uh,looks
like I didnt need your advice lex,I won her over" .IM DEAD.I wanted to cry because he started to sound like a jerk. "Good for you.U-uh congrats" my voice started to crack and my eyes got watery. Jeanette could tell that I was about to cry,so she told them that we had to go.We speed walked and made it to the girls restroom.I let it all out ,and occasionally jeanette said things to cheer me up.Jeanette was my best friend,how could I not appreciate what she does for me?"keep your head up,wipe those salty tears,and let's buy some stuff now!" Jeanette exclaimed."yaaay" I said in a sarcastic tone.
As we exited the rest room,I accidentally bumped into Grayson.

Grayson's POV

"I can't believe you man!" I yelled
"What?Just go to that lame movie by yourself,I'll be with Dakota"Ethan said idiotically.
"You suck.Goodbye"I said
"Bye bro" Ethan replied.
Me and Ethan were planning on watching American Ultra but I guess I had to change routes and do something else because of Dakota.I wasn't sure where to go,so I just walked around looking for a me thing that would catch my attention.I went on my phone,and just then I bump into someone ! It had turned out to be Alexis.She looked like she had been crying. I couldn't help but ask what was wrong."you know how I liked Ethan?Yeah... I found out that he was dating Dakota ,aaaaand long story short I got too dramatic."she said.I gave her a hug to comfort her.Alexis was about an inch or two shorter than me,so it was cute when we hugged. After she released from the hug,I couldn't help but smile at her.She gave me the 'why are you doing that ' look.I said goodbye and walked towards the food court to buy myself some food.I decided to get myself taco bell ,because of how great their food was.As I ordered my food,I waited 13 minutes then collected it then left.I headed towards the exit and saw Ethan shoving his tongue down Dakota's throat. Gross.I decided to eat my food when I didn't feel like throwing up.As soon as I was close to the door,I was stopped by a familiar voice.It was Alexis.

Alexis' POV

After Grayson gave that hug,Jeanette couldn't help but tease me about it.
"I think he likes you Lex.How has he been treating you these past few days?"
Jeanette asked with concern."he has been very sweet and supportive and-"I was interrupted by Jeanette."*squealing*,HE DOES LIKE YOU!"Jeanette said with excitement.
Wow,does he really?I didnt really think that this would mean he liked me .I thought to myself
"Go to a movie with him!Hang out with him nowwwwww."Jeanette said oddly
"Just as friends." I barely hang out with Grayson,so why not.
As we were going towards the the exit I saw Grayson leaving.I yelled his name "Grayson!" .He turned his head in an instant.He walked towards me and I asked him if he wanted to watch a movie with me.He agreed.
"So,what do you plan on watching?" He asked.
"American Ultra seems cool.If it's alright with you?"I questioned.
"Yeah!Me and Ethan were supposed to watch that,but he wanted to hang out with Dakota " he said annoyed.
As we made it towards the ticket booths, I whipped out my wallet,but just then Grayson hands me the tickets.I was shocked."how did you do that so quick?" I wondered "I got the money ready so you wouldn't have to waste a single penny"he chuckled.As we walked towards our movie room,it was still showing the commercials.I decided to go on my phone and wait for Grayson while he got the popcorn.

I took a lot of selfies on Snapchat and posted only a few.As soon as Grayson came back, he took out his phone and showed me that he had seen my story.We laughed,maybe out loud and then the movie began.I had a handful of popcorn in my hands and then immediately stuffed it into my mouth.

Later on, It got cold in the theater,so I decided to remove my flannel from my waist,and wear it like a jacket.I was still shivering.Grayson saw,and gave me his pullover.I thanked him then put it on.It was a bigger than I was.In between the movie,I think I fell asleep.I
Later woke up lying on Grayson's shoulders.I looked up and couldn't help but smile at him.
