ALEXIS

How could he do this to me? I liked him and little by little I started to fall in love with him.I was a fool to think that we would actually end up together one day. Ethan Grant.  His name was all I could think of every morning when I would wake up, to every minute before I'd fall asleep at night.

I was metaphorically being choked to death  in that split second . I couldnt breath nor take it all in.She kissed him and He kissed her. I loved him , but he didn't love me back. Dakota is a back stabbing devil.

I just stood there.A tear slipping out .I walked out of the restaurant without him noticing me.  The heels made it hard for me to run so I took them off and left them on the side of the street. F   it . I ran as far away from the restaurant as I could and came up to a cross walk.

I didn't care about anything. I crossed the road thinking that it was clear,  but then I was hit, and everything went black.

ETHAN
I waited impatiently for Alexis to get out of the restroom. I was dying to ask her a big question.I have been developing feelings for her and well,maybe I could ask her out?

She wasn't like the other girls.She stood out like she'd  be the only person in a room wearing white , while everyone else wore black .

I decided to go on my phone for a while.I looked up to see if she was on her way back, but no.Instead I'm approached by Dakota.

I furrowed my eyebrows "How did you find me?  And what are you doing here?"

" Not important. But remember when I said 'I'll find a way"?Well I did"

When she finished speaking , she leaned in and kissed me .I couldn't pull away. Her claw-like finger nails sunk deep into  my biceps and the more I moved the more restricted I was.

She finally pulled away

"What the Fuck?"

" just doing what I do best.  Get what's  mine "

"Get out of here!"

Luckily Alexis didnt see.She'd get the wrong idea .She has been in there for a pretty long time, so I asked a waitress if she could check on her.

She came back telling me that no one was in there.

"Did you see anyone leave the building?"

"Yes,not too long ago. A lady about your age walked out but she didn't seem too happy."

"Uh thanks"

Crap .She saw the whole thing.  I told the waitress that I wasn't going to order anything .I left and went back to my car.I was stressed out so I decided to drive down the roads of the city-like area of New Jersey.

I was about to approach a stop light when I saw a crowd surrounding a car.
In the driver's  seat was a man passed out on the wheel with a liquor bottle in the dashboard and one in his hand.

I came to the stoplight and saw an ambulance and an even bigger crowd surrounding something.

I was very curious,  so I parked my car and stepped out.I got closer and saw that it was someone. A girl in particular.

I pushed my way through the crowd and saw the love of my life.Unconscious . She had been crying for a long time .Her makeup was smudged and her eyes were a little puffy.

I came closer and kneeled beside her .I cried until the paramedics came and carried her body onto the gurney.

I asked if I could ride with them,  but I wasn't a family member. I went back into my car and followed them to the hospital.

" What happened to her?!"

"Mrs.Lancaster she was hit by a drunk driver "I answered

"Doctor will she be alright?"

A man with a clipboard walked towards us.

"Alexis had suffered serious head trauma "

"She's in a coma"

Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster we're in tears .

"Will she be alright yes or no?" Mr.Lancaster grew angry with him

"Yes.Just please,don't pull the plug"

"Why would they ever do that?" I questioned with furrowed eyebrows

"Boy I've seen parents give up on their kids.  It is  because they don't want them to suffer.They can't beatr seeing their kids asleep for weeks,months,maybe even years.But I know you won't do that. Will you now?" He whispered

"Of course I won't "

I walked into the room where Alexis was and sat on a chair beside her bed.

"Hey"

"I'm sorry for what you saw "

" Dakota just Leaned in and- " "well, you know"

"This is too much"

"Why did you have to get hurt?instead of me? "

Okay, maybe these chapters aren't as emotional as I said they'd be,  so I'm sorry for that ,but if they are then yay-ish. I might not up date until Friday? Dunno yunno.So i hope you guys at  having a lovely day and or night.
