SATURDAY -Wedding Day

ETHAN

I woke up to my blaring alarm.Last night was a blur,but I remember getting mad at Grayson.Hopefully it got into his head.

I got out of bed , took a quick shower then put on the new clothes that I bought for this specific occasion. I took a quick glimpse into the standup mirror by my wall.I looked decent, so now that I was ready,I had to wake up Grayson. I shook him.slapped him.played with his eyes.and nothing,but I saw an airhorn on my nightstand. I walked towards it and pushed on the button ,letting out a loud honk."What the?!" I successfully woke him up."Get ready man,we're gonna be late." I informed.He groaned ,then got dress up .

We walked down stairs, to meet our parents in the kitchen."Morning boys.Will one of you please pick up Alexis?She's riding with us." My mom questioned while taking a sip of her coffee."I will" I rapidly stated.

I put on a pair of black vans and walked out.

"Don't ruin your clothes Ethan Grant!" My mom shouted from the table.

"Okay!"

I closed the door behind me,and walked to Alexis' house with both hands in the pocket of my denim jacket.It was pretty cold out here.

A few moments later,I made it to her porch. I knocked on her door and her mom opened it up.
"Hello Mrs.Lancaster" I greeted
"Hello Ethan.Alexis will be down in a few minutes.Come in and have a seat." She insisted.

I thanked her and sat at the same couch I was on the other day.I waited for a long time,so I decided to amuse myself by going on my phone.

ALEXIS

What the heck am I gonna wear!? I paced back and forth across my room in frustration.But then, I remembered that I bought a dress the day Jeanette and I went to the mall.It was a royal blue hi-lo dress.So,I slipped that on,along with a pair of dark high heels.i put on a gold bracelet with a little accent,grabbed my mini purse and walked down.

I made it to the end of the steps and saw Ethan Sitting on one of my couches.He dressed up pretty good.

"Hey" I said while fidgeting with my bracelet.Ethan turned around.He started staring with his mouth forming an 'o'.

"H-hi.Y-you look beautiful" he stated shyly.

"Thanks"

"We should get going now.We're gonna be late" he said while staring at his watch.

"Yeah, let's go." I replied

We walked out,and made our way to his house.It was super could out here.I couldn't go back in to get a jacket because we were already too far.I literally felt like I was freezing to death.The goose bumps on my arm were very visible.

"You alright?" Ethan asked
"I'm just a little cold" I replied

"Here" he said placing his denim jacket over me.

"Thanks Eth"

I don't know if I was blushing ,but what he did was sweet.

After that moment,we arrived to his front porch and I returned his jacket.We got closer,and I saw that Grayson was waiting outside.That jerk. I lost interest in him.it was hard,but I eventually did it.

Cameron along Mr. & Mrs.Dolan , came out and gave brief welcomes.We then went inside their car.

It was very spacious. Grayson decided to sit at the third row of seats at the back,while Cameron,Ethan and I decided to sit in the middle row.

The ride took 5eva.We finally made it,and the venue was at a very nice hotel.
When I came out of the car,Ethan was already out.

"Shall we?"

He gestured his arm out ,and I linked mine with his.

From outdoors,we could see black and white balloons and a sign showing us where the wedding was at.It was in ballroom D .We entered the building and asked the front desk where this room was.The man in the front pointed towards the left ,and we immediately saw a sign,similar to the one outside. We all walked to the room and entered.The music was booming,the aroma of food was strong and the number of unfamiliar faces was huge.sadly,I didn't know a single relative of the Dolans.

We were addressed To a certain table near the bride and groom.And speaking of whom,they were heading towards us.

"Hello Lisa and Sean.The food is to the far right,along with drinks and desserts.And,I see you guys have a guest.What might your name be?" The bride asked looking at me.

"Hi,I'm Alexis"

"Hello Alexis.Are you and Ethan um,dating?" She questioned

"Uh,no." I replied quietly

"That's a shame.You guys would look cute together" she insisted.

Me and Ethan looked at each other and smiled.

"I agree" he said loud enough for only me to hear.

That was a bizzare thought though.

Luckily Grayson wasn't here to hear this .He was too busy stuffing his face with food.

One hour later

An hour has passed,and Ethan and I kept ourselves entertained the whole time.

We danced, talked & socialized with some of his relatives and cousins .

After we did all of that, we left and thanked the bride and groom for the invitation.I was pretty tired,so as soon as we entered the car,I fell asleep .

When I woke up,we were already at the Dolan household.I was also asleep on Ethan's shoulder.

"Gosh,im sorry" I said while shooting my head up.

"It's okay.You're kinda cute when you sleep" he said with a grin

"Creep" I said sarcastically

"you fell asleep on my shoulder and I had to check on you occasionally" he said throwing his hands up in defense.

"It was just a - nevermind.But thanks for inviting me.I had fun" I stated

"So did I" he replied.

And with that being said,I walked to my house and found out that my parents were here before I was.

I walked in and saw my mom on the table top in the kitchen with a cup of tea.

"Hey mom.How was the banquet?"

"We had fun.it would've been better if you came" she replied

"Sorry about that,but I had enjoyed myself too"
