We came to the end of the tunnel and walked out.

"How was the ride?" I questioned

"It was pretty good.At least I'll have something decent to remember before I leave" she replied.

"I totally forgot we were leaving.Maybe we should get going"

She agreed,then we went back to the car.I started the engine and we drove away.

"I'm gonna miss this place.So much" she said
"I'm gonna miss you too"

"Me too.But it's for the better.Am I right?" I answered

"I guess"

A few minutes later, we pull up to a curb across the hospital.We entered the double doors and made our way to Alexis' room.

"Mom we're back" Alexis announced as we walked in.

"Okay,we will be checking in at around six thirty .I already packed your clothes, so you don't have anything to worry about.You should get some rest " Mrs.Lancaster spoke

"Uh,it's only six"

"You leave at two forty five am . and thank you Ethan.Have a safe trip"

"Goodbye, and goodnight " I said as I exited.

I walked out,then drove back home.

Later at Ethan's house....

I just realized that Alexis and I board at the same time.The only downfall is that we leave in different planes.

I walk up to my room, and my phone starts to buzz.

It's a message from Alexis.

A: I know I'm not supposed to be up, but hey Eth.

A:i thought we could chat before we left.I mean is that okay with you?

E:yeah .But I might get too tired and not tell you that I'm about to fall asleep.

A:it's okay.

A:so what was your first stop again?

E: California

A: I hope you two come to New York

I slowly crept up the wooden floors and made my way to my bedroom trying not to wake Grayson.I then continued to text Alexis.

E: Alexis?

A: yeah ?

E: I'm going to miss you

E: I don't think I'll be able to sleep or even function properly when we part ways.

E : Growing up sucks.Too many decisions. Too much pressure.

A: I'm with you on that. I'll miss you so much too :(

E: remember that night we went out for dinner?

A: yeah?

E: I needed to tell you something important

A:what?

I looked up from my phone

She didn't respond for about two minutes,but then answered.

I turned off my phone and went to sleep.

"ETHAN WAKE UP WE'ARE GOING TO BE LATE!"

I open my eyes to see Grayson towering over me.

"Shut up,I'm awake"

I showered , then put on jeans with a dark plaid shirt along with a pair of black vans .

We left as soon as I finished.Grayson checked in our bags a few hours ago,so we had nothing to worry about.

We said goodbye to our parents ,then Cameron drove us to the airport.

"Okay,I will miss you two so much.Don't do anything stupid. I'll see you guys in a few months.Bye guys, enjoy your trip" Cameron said as she drove off .

We walked in and met up with Alexis .

"Hey Alexis" Grayson greeted

"Hey boys"

Grayson walked to a nearby vending machine and Alexis and I stood there parallel from each other.

"If only we hung out longer before this" I spoke

"I know" she cried

"it'll be alright . This isn't the end of- of us ." I hugged her and then there was an announcement through the intercom.

"Flight F112 will be departing now"

"That's mine" she said

"Goodbye Ethan, goodbye Grayson "

Before she left,she gave me a peck on my cheek and whispered:

"How could I? You and I have shared so many wild memories.I"
