Damian's POV

I hate you Todd. You promised.

"Fine anything yet, Grayson?" We were in Todd's apartment still. Grayson had his laptop out and was searching through security feed in the city's districts. Hopefully, they haven't gone far.

"Yes. I tapped into a little camera hidden on one of the lamp post. Was it yours?" Grayson asked, looking up at me.

"Yes." I said, looking at him.

"Ok, well, it shows Jason leaving in his uniform. Then there was a black van that pulled up and a bunch of Assassins got out. Then Jason comes back but he's in bad condition.....lights turn off in the apartment and then back on. Jason is being dragged out unconscious by 10 assassins. The van drives off and nothing else happens from there. The video is cut short. They must have found the camera. Why didn't they wipe it clean?" Grayson asked, looking up at me as if I new the answer.

"I put the second best security encryption on it. They wouldn't have been able to wipe it clean." I replied.

"Well you hid it really well." Grayson mumbled, typing on his computer. "I picked up sound from within the apartment from the cameras." Grayson started playing the video.

"Where is the kid." The assassin closest to Todd in the kitchen said rather than asked.

"F*ck you.* Todd growled, dodging a second assassins sword.

"Tell us now, and we will spare you." The assassin that swung the sword at Todd said, swinging again.

"Never." A huge fight broke out between Todd and the four assassins. It looked like Todd might be able to get away until one assassin caught him by the next and held a cloth against his mouth. Todd struggled until he fell limp, unconscious.

"Taliah wants him alive." The assassin holding Todd said, the others helping him drag Todd out of the apartment. The others meaning two, for Jason had managed to subdue one. The one currently dead in the kitchen. There were a few others in the kitchen, but that must have from one of the gas traps Todd recently set up. I hadn't known why. Now I do. The video ended and Grayson looked at me.

"He knew they were coming. He knew all along someone was after him. The gas trap in the kitchen went off, which is why there is numerous assassins instead of just one. He knew!" I get more angry as the realization sinks further in. I chuck the lamp on the stand at the wall. It smashed and Grayson cringes slightly. "He promised me he wasn't going to leave! I'll kill him when we find him!"

"We will get him back, Damian. Promise. Besides, what's the use of saving him from certain death only for you to kill him. Calm down, Dami. Everything will be fine. They don't know who they're messing with." Grayson tried to reassure me. "But we will need help." Grayson was trying to slowly get the thought into my head that we couldn't do this alone. I sighed.

"Call Drake. Call Brown, call Cain, call everyone. Lets get Todd back. Now."
