One week later.

Jessica sits on the couch with her shirt up and headphones on her belly.
Evan walks by and smiles, "Hey! Whatcha doin'?"
"Listening to music. She likes it!" She smiles at him.
"Awe does she?" He sits beside her.
"Yeah she's movin' all over the place." She giggles.

Evan puts his hand on the bottom of her belly and feels her move to the music.
"Look at this, we've got a little dancer on our hands!" He chuckles.
"Maybe!" Jessica giggles.
"Honey, why don't you sing to her?" She smiles.
"Alright, what should I sing?" He asks as Jessica turns the music off and takes the headphones off her belly.
"Mmm surprise me!" She smiles and leans back to get comfortable.
"Alright.." Evan clears his throat and starts singing.

"I could stay awake just to hear you breathing

Jessica smiles and tears up as he starts singing to her and the baby.
It was the song he sang and they danced to when they first went up to her cabin in Minnesota, where the baby was conceived.

He continues to sing the rest of the song and by the time he's finished, Jessica is in tears.
"Wow... That was amazing!" She smiles.
"Thank you." He smiles then kisses her belly.
"Do you think she liked it?"
"I think she loved it!" She smiles.
"She was kicking the whole time, wasn't she?" Evan smiles.
"Yeah baby, she loved it!" Jessica runs her hand thru his hair.

Evan lays on her lap as she plays with his hair.
"Evan..."
"Yeah baby?"
"When do you think she's gonna come out?"
"I don't know baby.. Whenever she's ready."
"But I'm ready now!" She whines.
"Awe I know baby.  But she'll be here before we know it."
"I know.  I just thought she'd come sooner.  You know since she's already tried to come early, and she dropped, but honey I just feel like I'm at a stand still!" She says in a sad voice.
"I know these last couple weeks feel like an eternity to you but it'll all be worth it once she's in your arms."
"You're right." She smiles.

Christopher comes down when the doorbell rings.
Sam was coming to pick him up.

"Hey dad!" Christopher says as he opens the door.
"Hey son, you ready?"
"Yeah, let me just grab something."
"Alright."

Sam walks in and shuts the door.
"Hey Sam." Jessica says as he walks in.
He smiles and says, "Hey... You look.."
"Big?"
"No!  You just look.. Ready!" He laughs.
"Yeah, I am.  But she's not." She chuckles and rubs her stomach.
Evan sits up and Jessica pulls her shirt down.
He shakes his hand and says, "Hey.. Have a seat." Evan tells him.
"Where's Chris?" Jessica looks towards the stairs.
"He said he was getting something.  You know.. This brings back memories."
"What?"
"You being all big and pregnant." Sam smiles.
"Ah yeah.. And you being all drunk and hanging out in bars." Jessica sarcastically says with a smile.
"Yeah..." He looks down.
He clears his throat and says, "I can't believe Chris is gonna be thirteen in like four months!"
"I know!  My baby's gonna be a teenager... and here I am starting over!" She laughs and puts her hand on the top of her stomach.

Christopher walks down and sees Jessica with tears in her eyes.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"My baby boy's growing up!" She wipes her eyes.
"You need a nap, don't you?" He chuckles.
"I think so!" She cries.
Evan wraps his arm around her and says, "Awe, my little hormonal mess."
"Well he's my baby, what do you expect?!" She looks at him and whines.
"I know. I know!" Evan says in a cute voice and squeezes her cheeks as he puckers his lips and kisses her.
"Well let's go Chris!" Sam stands up as soon as they start kissing.
"Bye!" Jessica laughs as she breaks the kiss.
"Be careful Chris. Come give momma a hug!" She smiles and holds her arms out.
He hugs her and rubs her stomach.
"Don't come out until your big brother comes back!" He says then holds Jessica's shoulder, "Try to keep her in, mom."
"I'll try, honey." She chuckles.
"But call me if anything happens, I wanna be at the hospital when she's born!"
"We will sweetie. But I don't think she's coming out any time soon." She chuckles and nods her head as she puts her hand on her stomach.
