After their doctors appointment Evan asks, "So what does my baby momma feel like eating?"
"Mmm.. Everything!" She smiles.
"Alright momma!" He chuckles.
"Ooh no, what I'm craving is a Big Mac!" She licks her lips.
"Well if your craving it, I can't deprive you of that!  McDonald's it is!"

While eating they sat in the kids section, they always sat there.. It felt more private to them.
Evan smiles watching the kids run around, "What are you thinking about, honey?" She asks him.
"About our baby.. Our baby Jessie, can you believe it?!" He smiles.
"It is pretty crazy!" She chuckles then adds, "And he or she was conceived at the cabin, hah!  I knew that place was magical!"
"I know.. Hmh.. Our little cabin baby." He smiles and looks down at her stomach.
"Evan stop!" She smiles and puts her hand on her lap in front of her stomach.
"What?!"
"Don't make it obvious!  We have to make it look like we came to lunch as friends!  If you're staring at my stomach the whole time people are gonna think I'm pregnant and then obviously put two and two together!"
"Yeah.. I guess you're right."

When they get home they don't expect Chris to be there.

They walk in with her legs around his waist and his lips locked to hers.
"Hi mommy." Christopher says making them gasp.
Evan puts her down.
"Hey baby.. When did you get home?.. Mommy?" She scoffs since Christopher never calls her that.
"I've been home a while.. Where were y'all?"
"Well! We were-" Evan says as he gets interrupted by Jessica elbowing his chest.
"WE went to grab something to eat. Did you eat, baby?"
"Yeah we ate.. So um.. Are you feeling any better?"
"I feel okay, thanks." She smiles.

After Chris leaves the room Evan looks at her and asks, "Why didn't you tell him?"
"I don't know.. I'm scared!"
"Scared of what?"
"I'm scared at how he'll react.. What if he thinks I won't love him as much? What if-"
"Baby that's not gonna happen.. Christopher knows that you love him with all your heart.. This isn't gonna change they way you feel about him. I'm sure it'll be a little hard for him with everything changing so fast but when he sees that little baby and holds em' for the first time.. He'll wonder how life went on before that little bundle of joy."
"Aw Evan.. Thank you.." She hugs him.

Throughout the rest of the evening Christopher looked at Jessica's stomach from afar.
Oh my gosh.. She's pregnant! This is so weird!
Once she caught him staring and smiling at her, "Christopher?  Why are you being weird?"
"No reason.  You just look so pretty today." He smiled.
"Awe, thank you sweetie!"
And you're pregnant! He thought to himself

Jessica planned to tell Christopher at dinner.
They sit down to eat but when the smell hits Jessica's nose she gets a sick feeling in her stomach and runs to the bathroom.
"I uh.. Better check on her." Evan says excusing himself from the table.
"Mmhhmm.." Christopher looks at him with narrow eyes.

Evan goes to Jessica to comfort her, "Oh god!  He knows.. He has to know.."
"Why do you think he knows?"
"Well I don't, but if I'm throwing up like this, what else could he think?"
"Honey I don't think he knows.. But I do think you should tell him before this little ones born." He chuckles and rubs her stomach.
"Yeah.. I guess you're right." She sighs and stands up.

She brushes her teeth then goes back to the table.

When they get back Christopher asks, "Are you okay mommy?"
"I'm okay sweetie... Christopher?  Why have you been calling me mommy?" She asks confused.
"Well it's been a while since you've been called that and I figured you better get used to it.."
"What?.." She looks at him with a blank face.
"I know you're pregnant, mom."
"Is it that obvious?" She looks down at her stomach.
"No.. Well yeah a little but I just thought you ate too much."
"So how did you know?"
"I found your pregnancy test in your bathroom."
"I thought you took care of them?!" She looks at Evan.
"I did!  I must've missed one!"
"I just want to hear you tell me."
"Alright.  Christopher.. I'm pregnant!" She smiles.
"Seeeee.. That wasn't so hard!" Christopher smiles.
"No I guess not.. How do you feel?"
"How do I feel?  Hah!  Well at first I was shocked, then I was mad, then sad... and now that I've had time to think about it... I'm.. I'm actually really excited." He smiles.
"Oh thank god, Chris!  I was so worried that you would be upset with me!"
"Why would I be upset with you?"
"Well I don't know, there's a lot of things that went through my mind.. But Christopher I just want to tell you that this baby isn't going to change you and me.. Yes things will be different or even difficult at times but you'll always be my baby boy." She gets closer to him, grabs his hands and looks deep into his eyes.
"I know mom.. I'll be fine, you need to just take care of yourself and relax.. You're having a baby." He smiles at her.
Jessica smiles at him with tears in her eyes and hugs him, "Oh Chris!"
"I love you, mom."
"I love you too, baby boy!"

Evan watches them and smiles.
Jessica wipes her tears and Christopher turns to Evan and says, "Congratulations.. You're stuck with us now!" And shakes his hand.
Jessica laughs and Evan says, "Aw haha, well I've never been happier to be stuck with someone in my whole life and congratulations to you too, big brother."
"Big brother Christopher!" Jessica smiles and rubs his arm.
"Sounds good.." He smiles then looks at Jessica's stomach and slowly brings his hand to her stomach.
"Hi baby... I'm Chris... Your big brother."
Jessica smiles and gets tears in her eyes.
"So uh.. How pregnant are you?"
Jessica chuckles and says, "I'm six weeks.  It's still early so we're not telling anyone yet."
"Six weeks?  When will we know what it is?"
"Not for a while.. about 12 weeks."
"Oh and your mom and I have some pictures to show you." Evan hands him the ultrasound pictures.
"What is it?" He looks closely at the picture.
"That's the baby!" Jessica laughs.
"Where is it?"
"See this little thing that looks like a peanut?"
"Yeah."
"Baby, that's it." She smiles.
"Wow... It's so tiny!" Christopher stares at the picture in silence.
Jessica and Evan look at each other and smile.
"Let's tell grandma!" Chris looks up and smiles at them.
"Haha!  Not yet, sweetie!" Jessica tells him.
