My eyes flicker open and my vision is blurry, all I see are dark silhouettes of two people and a bright shining light above them. Then, as if my eyes were a camera, they focus and now I can the features of the two people, black hair, brown eyes, obviously the two med-jacks. I sit up slowly and look around, my head spins and I close my eyes to focus. Suddenly the door flings open and Newt bounds in, he whispers something to the med-jacks and they leave the room. Then crouches beside my bed,
"Are you okay?" He says with a tone of worry in his voice
His hand pulls through his messy hair, then he rubs his tired, bloodshot eyes,
"I don't know," I reply "what's wrong with you? You look as if you haven't slept for ages,"
He looks down at the floor,
"Because I haven't...."
"Why?"
"I....I've being worrying about you," he looks up at me
"Newt...." I say with sympathy
He smiles grimly.
"You shouldn't worry, I'm a big girl, I can handle passing out," I tease him
But he doesn't smile. He stares out of the window for a while then he suddenly stands up,
"Okay.....I... have to go now," he says then he walks out swiftly closing the creaky door behind him
I sit and re-imagine Newt in my head, his bloodshot eyes.....but somehow I can see through them and see his beautiful mystical eyes. I shake my head in confusion, wondering why he was the first thing I thought about. Then I realised.
I love Newt...
