Melanie is stuck in between Worlds - the World of the Living and the World of the Dead. She died in a horrible accident but has unfinished business to tend to, preventing her access to The Other Side. Then she meets Louis, the male dressed in black who seems to be the only other person stuck between Worlds with her.

But is Melanie able to trust someone as evil as him?
