I woke up to the sound of my phone's ringtone blaring throughout my room, which really pissed me off.

I have reached this certain point in my pregnancy that if I don't get enough sleep or I'm woken up from my slumber... well let's just say that there will be hell to pay.

Groaning in frustration, I reached over and grabbed my phone to answer the call, a FaceTime call.

Matt.

"What do you want?" I barked, throwing my phone in the blankets beside me so I didn't have to hold it.

I bundled back up in my blankets, trying to become comfortable again.

"Aren't you a bucket of sunshine this morning?"

"Shut up," I groaned, peaking over the pile of blankets on top of me to see the alarm clock on my nightstand beside my bed. 9:52 AM. "Let me sleep,"

"You never sleep in," He pointed out, his voice muffled from my phone being lost in the covers.

I took a deep breath and ignored him in hopes of him going away.

"I love you," Still here.

But that did bring a smile to my lips.

I sighed dramatically and grabbed my phone from beside me to where he could see my face.

"I knew that would get your attention," He smirked with a small chuckle.

"I love you too you bonehead."

"Let's go out today," He suggested. "Starbucks?"

I couldn't help but laugh as I forced myself out of my bed.

"As tempting as that sounds, I have plans today." I informed him as I made my way to my bathroom and brought him with me. "You can come if you'd like."

"And those are?" He asked as propped my phone on my bathroom counter.

"Well," I sighed, preparing my toothbrush so I could brush my teeth. "I am going to pick out a car today and hopefully go baby furniture shopping for the guest house."

"I thought we were doing that tomorrow after church?"

"Tom, Brandy and I decided to do it today so we weren't rushing around tomorrow. That way we have plenty of time today."

"Be careful with all that running around," He warned me. "You've only had it that boot for about two weeks,"

I got my pink plaster cast removed and replaced with a solid walking boot. I go back to the orthopedics in a week to see my progress and hopefully be done with the boot.

"I'm fine," I promised. "Just one more week with it on."

"Oh yeah," he agreed. "What happened between you and your mom anyway?"

I shook my head at the thought of everything that happened two weeks ago. What she did wasn't fair at all and it really pissed me off.

"It's over I guess," I shrugged, continuing to brush my teeth.

"What do you mean?"

I finished up with my toothbrush and began brushing my long hair.

"Brandy and Tom were so pissed when they found out what happened. They had to idea she had a family set up and whatever so they went ballistic and like fixed everything I guess. She apologized but it's not the same." I informed him with a shrug of a shoulder.

"I'm sorry babe,"

I love when he calls me that.

Running a brush through my tangled hair made me wince at every stroke. I hate my hair.
