You woke up the next day. Your eyes hurt and so did your throat. You got dressed in a black shirt and pants and went down stairs. You didn't feel like getting crap from the Slythrins so you went to Gryffindor. You walked over to Harry, Hermione and Ron. Hermione gasped as you walked over. And she had a reason your eyes were red and your normally nice hair was in a messed up clip in the back.
"Can I join you" You said in a slightly scratchy voice.
"Sure, sit down, you look horrible Courtney what happened last night?" Hermione said.
You felt an al too familiar sting at the back of your throat. Here were the three people that in four years you had humiliated so many times, they were worried about you as if you'd never been mean to them!
"Look before i say anything else please let me say i'm sorry for anything i've ever done to you three."
"Courtney, calm down it's fine." Hermione said trying to calm your hysteria." Now, please tell us why you look like you do."
"I was up most of the night crying. H-he was my everything." You held out your left hand and on you ring finger was the gold band he'd given you after the Yule ball.
"Courtney... Is that an...." Hermione stuttered.
"Not quite. It's not an engagment ring but close. It's a promise ring. He promised me that o-one we gaduated we'd get married." You said tears spilling out of your eyes. By this time Harry and Ron had left not wanting to intrude.
"Oh Courtney!" She said embracing you in hug.
"Thanks" You said.
You sighed and looked around to see everyone was slowly leaving.
"I gotta go i'm supposed to sing at the funeral. See you there."
You picked up your guitar from your room and headed down to the funeral, fighting tears the whole way.
Dumbeldore began talking. You were trying to focus but you couldn't...
Then Dumbledore gestured for you to come up.

And with that it was over. You didn't want to do anything so you went back to your room and got back into bed and fell asleep.

"What are you talking about?!"
"C-CEDRIC!!!!! HE WAS MY BOYFRIEND!!! I LOVED HIM DAD!!"
"You..."
"YES DAD... I lOVED HIM. HE LOVED ME!! DAD WE WHEN WE GRADUATED WE WERE GOING TO GET MARRIED!!"
"Don't Rais-" You cut him off.
"DON'T TELL ME NOT TO YELL!!!! YOU DON'T GET IT!!! DAD HE WAS MY EVERYTHING!!"
"STO-"
"NO!!!" Uh-oh to far you could tell he'd lost his temper.
"CRUCIO!!"
"AHHHH!!!!!!!!"
The pain was unbareable it was terrible. It felt like you were on fire.
The last thing you saw before blacking out was the regret in his eyes.
