Kelsie Clark is having a party.
She has one every year at this time.
Because it's her birthday. And birthdays usually take place at the same time every year.
Kelsie invites me today.
She invites me every year.
She doesn't want to.
She invites me because of Violet. Because they're friends.
She wasn't going to invite me this year.
She didn't think I was friends with Violet anymore.
She'd assumed I'd been replaced.
By Nina. And Cody.I heard them talking in the halls.
Violet asked Kelsie where my invitation was.
Kelsie smiled sweetly. She said it must have gotten lost in the mail.I get the invitation.
I go to the party.
It's not that bad.
But by the end. I'm completely drained.
Violet runs off with Cody.
I drive everyone else home.
The least I can do for this world, before I leave it, is carpool.
You know. Go green.
When I get home I decide to be polite and write her a letter.
Kelsie,
Will you please try and make it to my funeral? It will be near the end of December of this year.R.S.V.P. to my mother.
Goodbye,
CaitlynP.S. Thank you for inviting me to your party. It was very nice.
