"I heard that the Hulk was going to visit you tonight," I say. "But he had to save the world again. He'll meet you at your birthday though."

"Woah! Weally," Greyson asks, getting even more excited.

"Yep. I talked with him earlier," i smile.

"Casey," Aaron grabs my attention and tells me to lean in, which I oblige to. He then whispers in my ear,"Don't give the kid false hope, okay. He'll be so excited then he'll be disappointed."

"I'm not giving him false hope. My cousin needs some money for a new phone, and I told him I would help him out if he did this since he has a hulk costume from a year or two ago," I explain. "I wouldn't tell Greyson a lie. I'm not that evil."

"Okay," he laughs. "Just making sure."

The rest of the ride was small talk with the occasional comment about how adorable 2 year old Greyson is until we got to the street where everyone was trick-or-treating.

"Alright, little man," Aaron says as he picks him up from the car seat. "You ready for some candeh?" He says the last part like a French chef.

"Yeah," he exclaims, clapping his hands.

I hand him his trick-or-treat box and walk beside Aaron, hand in hand. We get to our first stop to see two werewolves on a porch. I'm guessing they're a married couple.

"Are dey gunna eat me," Greyson screams, getting scared.

"Eat you? I wouldn't even try! You're too strong for me," the female werewolf says, putting some candy in his bucket after walking away from her porch to us. I can tell by her voice that she's an elderly lady.

"Anyone that would even think about messing with you is crazy! I wouldn't even dream of it," her husband adds, walking up behind her.

"Am I weally dat tuff," he asks.

"You bet," the woman smiles, then heads back to the porch.

"Have a nice night, y'all," the man finishes, following his wife.

"Did ya hear dat, untle arwin? I'm a tuff man," Greyson smiles, looking proud.

"Yes you are, little man," Aaron laughs as we walk to the next house.

We walk for about forty-five minutes, listening to Greyson talk about how tough he is to some new strangers that aren't strangers and are his friends because they gave him candy before Greyson complains that he's tired. We head back to the car then. I offer to buckle in Greyson while Aaron turns on the car which Aaron allows. Once I'm buckled in myself along with Aaron, we head back to his aunt's house.

"Thank you for coming with me tonight. It means a lot. I honestly don't have a clue what I'm doing when it comes to little kids," he laughs.

"Well neither do I, but you're welcome," I laugh.

"Are you kidding? You arranged for him to meet The Hulk, and he was around you all night! He was laughing constantly because of you. Lately, with his mom and dad fighting all the time, his mom getting the flu on Halloween, starting school a year early then moving during the school year, it's a lot, especially for someone as young as him. He needed this."

"Aaron, I enjoyed myself. Really. Thank you for inviting me," I stop him from going on.

"You'd be a good mom, ya know," Aaron says blankly.

"Not at the age of 18. I would be a stupid one," I laugh.

"You know what I mean," Aaron laughs along with me. "You'd be the mom that makes your kid's friends jealous. You're awesome personality wise, and you're fine as fuck too, so," Aaron jokes.

"There's a two year old in the car," I remind him.

"Yeah, but he's asleep," Aaron says, nodding his head towards Greyson.

I realize that he truly is asleep at the same time I realize that we're at his house. Aaron parks in the driveway, and I take out my phone. I force Aaron to get into the camera view as I take a picture of all us together. Aaron is crossing his eyes and smiling, my face is turned towards him and laughing, and Greyson is asleep, not aware of the world around him. Everything is perfect.

Yep. I've found my new lockscreen.

"Thank you again," Aaron says as we stand in front of my front door.

"You're welcome," I roll my eyes. That's the 6th time he's said that tonight. I've been keeping count.

"Listen, Casey. There's something I want... I need to tell you, and it's okay if you don't reply the way I hope you would. I just need to know that you know-," I stop him.

"Spit it out."

"I love you," he rushes out.

Did... Did Aaron just tell me loves me? I mean, I know I'm his girlfriend, but am I good enough for him to love?

I don't feel like I'm as pretty as the other girls he's been with although he always tells me otherwise along with Cheyenne. Plus I'm not exactly his type. I'm more on the nerdy loner side them the cool popular side like him.

"Like I said Casey, you don't have to say it back," he says, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Without thinking, I step forwards until I'm as close as humanly possible to Aaron, and I connect my lips with his. Usually when we kiss, the kisses are short, and they're not really passionate. This kiss was the complete opposite. It was long. It was breathtaking. It was full of love. It was passionate. It wasn't just a little peck, like always. This one was full of meaning. It wasn't a kiss that said 'hey, we're dating, and we like eachother.' It was a kiss that said 'hey, we're together as one, and we're so deep in love that not even the deepest point in the deepest ocean is as deep as our love.' It was just one of those kisses that will never be forgotten because not only is it unforgettable, but it is a kiss that you don't ever want to forget.

When we finally pull away, I look up at Aaron and whisper four words that I have never spoken in the way they are being spoken at this very moment.

"I love you too."
