Nine : Too Much Exercise

"My brother's best friend? I think?," I say, still not sure myself.

"Wow," Casey says, plopping down beside me. "It's not fair to you. I'm sorry," she says after a while.

"What's not fair?"

"I've been keeping something from you for years."

"Oh," I say, slightly disappointed. I thought we would always be honest with each other, but I guess not.

"I like my best friend's brother," she states.

I thought I was her best friend? I mean, there's no way she likes Aaron, so I guess I'm not. Wow, today is a day full of disappointment.

"Who's your best friend," I ask.

"It's only been a week Chey Chey," she says, using her nickname for me. "I know you haven't forgotten that you're my best friend in that short amount of time."

"But there's no way you can like Aaron! I mean, c'mon! He's Aaron," I exclaim, confused. Thank God my parents aren't home, and Aaron is at Taylor's.

Oh Taylor is a friend of Aaron's and Shawn's. Taylor caniff is his full name, and I'm not gonna lie he's hawt. Just in case you didn't know.

"But I do," she says nervously.

Once it's settled in that she actually does, I do something she probably did not expect.

"Oh my llamas! Since when? Does he know? Why haven't you ever told me? What do you like about him? Ya know, other than the fact he's related to me," I pause to flip my hair. "Oh my llamas this is huge!"

The next time Aaron brings home a girl, I'm going to scare her away. Oh my llamas, I need a prank book! I wonder if I leave secret admirer notes around where he's been after Casey leaves every time she comes over, he'll fall for her. Awh, that would be so cute! I'm so doing that!

"Since a long time. No. I thought you would be mad... Wow you're surprising. Uh, what was the last question?"

"What do you like about him?"

"Oh my lawd, everything! His hair, his eyes. And his laugh is just wow! So adorable. Like him. And that smile... His personality is so much better though like wowza!"

"Wowza?"

"Yeah," she sighs, like a love sick puppy.

"Ima tell him," I state in a bored tone after a few seconds.

"Hell no you're not," she exclaims.

I get up from my bed and - after grabbing my phone - I run to the bathroom and lock the door.

"Hey Aaron," I yell through the door, reading the message out loud. "I just figured out Casey likes you. You should date her if you love your amazing sister. Love you!"

"Cheyenne! Do not press send! You hear me? Do not hit the button that says send!"

"Oh you want me to send it? Kk," I smirk, pressing send.

Delivered.

Cue evil laugh.

I unlock the door to see Casey glaring at me. If looks could kill, I would be 6 feet under a llama farm right now.

"Hey Casey! I love your hair today! It's so coote," I say, smiling innocently.

"I'm going to fucking kill you, you fucking bítch!"

"Watch your profanity young lady," I scold.

The glare she gives me tells me she is not kidding. So I do what any logical llama, unicorn, or ugh alpaca would do. I run. Very fast. Well, as fast as I can considering the fact that I'm running downstairs.

I run into the kitchen, around the island, into the backyard, around the pool three times - wow this is a lot of running - inside, upstairs, into my dad's office, back into the hallway, and I try going downstairs but I fall. I land on my back and in a lot of pain. The next thing I know Casey has my arms pinned down and she's sitting on my stomach. Curse my clumsiness.

"Hey Casey," I smile.

"I fucking hate you," she says with no emotion.

"But all I did was ask for pizza," I pout.

"What," Casey is clearly confused.

"Look at the text," I laugh giving her my phone.

               Hey Aaron? Can you bring Casey and I pizza? Love you💋

Hehe... I'm evil.

"Oh... Okay," Casey says, getting off of me and throwing my phone on my stomach.

I'm too tired to care. That was way too much exercise.
