As soon as Taylor told me that Shawn and Aaron were about to fight, I thanked him and ran off. I mean, for Aaron and Shawn to get so angry at each other that they fight, it's something bad. They're best friends! They're as close as Casey and I.

Once I arrive at the scene, I hear Shawn and Aaron arguing.

"I don't give a shit if you like her, Shawn! I'm your best friend-," see what I mean? "-And I know how you are!"

"Fuck you Aaron. You don't know shit!"

"I don't? Really? Man, I wasn't born yesterday! I know you're going to make her fall under your charm! You're going to be sweet, and kind! You're going to make her fall in love, and you're going to get her to give you her virginity, then you'll leave her!"

Should I hop in now because Aaron looks like he's about to kill someone? Most likely Shawn.

"How would you know if she's a fucking virgin," Shawn rolls his eyes.

"We're extremely close, and she's my fucking sister! I know this shit okay!"

I clear my throat at that. They both turn my way, and Aaron quickly closes his mouth while Shawn looks like I'm about to murder him.

"Cheyenne? Say something," Casey says after what feels like years.

Oh yeah... I was about to say something... What was it? Oh yeah!

"I don't know what the fuck is going on," I start. "Nor do I care."

Lies.

Shut up brain.

"But I am not going to let you guys fight over it. Shawn, stop breaking hearts. Aaron, let Shawn be a jackass when he wants to be. Now go play video games or something, but if I hear anymore about this, I'm getting the biggest bowling balls I can find, and I'm throwing them at your bowling balls. Got it?"

They both nod their head, so I grab Casey's arm and lead her away from them.

"Casey," I ask after a few minutes.

"Yeah," she asks.

"Did Aaron just say that Shawn likes me?"

"Technically, yes."

"Well then..."
