Surprisingly we got back just in time for the party which made me upset. Now I'm going to be forced to see Shawn for 3 hours. Maybe I'll pretend I have a lot of homework or something... Yeah, I'll do that.

Casey and I walk through the door, and we're immediately hit with the sounds of loud music and loud people. We hurriedly run upstairs and into my room to wrap our gifts which only took ten minutes since we only wrapped the shoes and phone cases and put the rest in bags. We wrote our names on tape then put the tape on the bags and the wrapping paper before walking downstairs and setting everything on the gift table. We then set out to have a good time.

Well, Casey did. I had to do something first, so that explains why I'm walking towards and Shawn and Aaron. It looks like they made up for the most part. When I arrive, Shawn walks away. Okay that stung a little.

"Aaron, I need to talk to you," I say as he sits on the kitchen counter.

"Do you want to do it here or in private," he asks over the loud music.

"It doesn't matter," I shrug.

"Here's fine then I guess," he chuckles.

"Well you don't have a date to homecoming anymore, and Casey doesn't have one either, so I was kind of hoping," I drift off, hoping he would get the idea.

"You want me to ask Casey to the dance," he say, turning pink.

"Well yeah," I shrug. "You owe Shawn for being a douche, so if you do this small favor for me, I'll owe him instead of you."

"Yeah sure okay, but make sure he knows about it. I'll go ask her right now," he says, hopping off of the kitchen counter and walking away.

I smile to myself, knowing that I'm going to get a hug later. I like hugs okay. They're kewl.

Once I spot Shawn sitting outside on the back porch alone, I walk outside. It's weird seeing Shawn alone. He's always with someone whether it's Aaron, Jack J, Cameron, Jack G, Jacob, or one of the other guys. It's just so... Weird.

I let the door slam behind me as I walk up behind Shawn. As I'm about to sit down, he speaks.

"If someone is alone somewhere, it usually means they want to stay that way."

"Sorry," I apologize. "I just came to talk to you, but of you want to be left alone, I'll respect that," I shrug, heading back into the house.

"I thought you were one of the guys. I'm sorry," he says as he pats the space beside him.

I sit down beside him and look up at the sky. I can see why he wanted to be left alone. It's quiet and peaceful out here.

"Did you hear what Aaron said," he asks.

"What do you mean," I reply.

"On the track. Right before you stopped the argument. Did you hear what he said?"

He sounds so relaxed. If I were in his shoes, I would be freaking out.

"Yeah, I did."

"Oh. Why are you talking to me then," he ask, sounding upset.

Now I wanna hug him until he gets happy. Cue sad face.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"A guy that is too far away to be in your league likes you. I just figured you would be disgusted," he shrugs, no emotion in his voice.

"Me? Out of your league," I fake a laugh. "I may be the llama queen, but Shawn you're out of my league. You're popular. I'm not. My brother is."

"Yeah, but you're a genuinely nice person that everyone loves because of your personality and looks. All I have is looks," he shrugs.

"You have more than that. When you're not being a fuckboy, you're a good guy. That's the only reason I haven't killed you yet," I joke, rolling my eyes.

"Right, okay," he snorts, giving me that cute smile he always shares.

"Oh by the way, Aaron is doing me a favor, so he doesn't owe you anymore. I owe you though, so when you think of something, let me know," I say, ruffling his hair and standing up.

"I know what I want," he says, immediately.

"Which is?"

"Go to homecoming with me?"

"Sure," I say, bending down and kissing him on the cheek.

Tonight is a good night.
