"Can we go shopping, Delly?" I asked. It has been three weeks since we met Ellington . I, honestly, think they have a shot at making it big. They're doing what they love and I'm so proud. Even Ryland's in on this, being their manager and all.
Everyone was hanging in the living room. They were taking a break from songwriting, so I thought I could steal Delly for an hour or two to spend some time together. I've been feeling a little down lately so I just thought some girl time is what I need.
"Sorry, Reignbow-Cakes, I can't. We're almost done with this song, so maybe after we finish up," she replied. "Oh," I said, a little sad, "it's fine, maybe some other time." She looked at me and smiled, pity in her eyes.
"How about you, Ry?" I asked, since he isn't technically doing anything, "We could go to the mall and grab something to eat." "Sorry, Rei. I already ate," he replied. "Okay, I guess. I'll go to the mall by myself. Riker, can you-," I stopped myself before I could ask Riker to drop me off. Everyone already stopped paying attention and went right back to joking around and working on the song.
"Nevermind," I mumbled to myself as I went to ask Mama if she could drop me off.
Told you guys I'd update before next week. 😉😏 And remember no updates next week because I'll be away at science camp. So no hounding me about that. I don't want any comments saying "Plz update" especially since I can't read them anyway (no technology). I might have free time tomorrow, I don't know yet. So I'll try tomorrow to update. No promises there. Anyway, peace out guys. ✌️
