Vincent x Reader (Asylum)

Chapter 2 ~ Plans

I end up finishing my book before lunchtime and have to sit doing nothing. And by nothing J mean wondering where Vincent was. I shrug and stare out the barred window. I miss the outside world and I know if I ever see my dad again it isn't going to be pretty. I was torn from my thoughts as a tall purple figure appeared in front of me. I smile and turn towards Vincent.

"Hi I have a plan to get us out of here" Vincent said

"Hi and how in the world did you come up with a plan already" I asked

"Hi and I worked on it but it isn't finished" Vincent said

"Hi and tell me the plan" I replied, Vincent sat down next to me. He took in a deep breath and looked around making sure nobody was listening

"Tonight we will get out I will come so I saw the scheduled for when the workers get their food. The door will be unlocked so we should be able to get out a friend of mine will be waiting outside in the grass we will need to be quick although the security is low here the best results will be if we are quick. If we are lucky we can get on a plane. My friend has four tickets so do you have anyone else you wanna get out of here"

"Uh I have one person in mind but I don't know if she will want to come I will have to ask her" I said and Vincent nodded "You have one hell of a plan there" I added "What time are you going to be getting out of here" I asked

"Just wait until I get over to your room" Vincent said and I nodded getting up

"Where are you going" Vincent asked 

"To go see if that one person wants to join us if she does she can be a huge help" I said walking off, I wandered down the hall and put on a sick face. I turned into my room and saw Sam standing making my bed

"(y/n) you are supposed to be in the commons area" she said and I nodded grabbing my stomach and closing the door the going back to normal. 

"I know its just that I need to ask you a question" I said "Its been nagging at me for a while" I said

"Of course you can ask me anything" Sam said 

"What if we could get out of here like out out, out of the state" I asked

"Oh (Y/n) you know how much I want to get out of this damned place" Sam said and I smiled

"Well there is this new guy here his name is Vincent been through 16 jails I think is what he said and he can get us out tonight" I said and Sam went wide eyed

"Are you sure he isn't joking" Sam asked and I shook my head

"He was dead serious" I said and Sam smiled

"I do it but if he gets us in trouble you get transferred to a jail and I loose my job" Sam said

"And that is where you come in, you can pretend you are taking us to the bathroom or something Vincent said that he is going to get us out the unlocked door when the delivery guy comes and gives you guys food" I said

"But that is at midnight" Sam said and I nodded "Ohhhhh"

"Yeahhhh" I replied

Time skip

11:59

Vincent was in the doorway and Sam and I were waiting. Vincent was frozen

"Did you snitch on me" he asked and I shook my head

"Sam is going to get us out of here" I replied and Vincent nodded

"If we are going we need to go now" Vincent said and we all nodded and went out of the door and headed to the commons area. The place was freezing at night causing me to chatter my teeth, I grabbed my shoulders as we ran crossed the room. I wondered how we weren't getting caught, I guess Sam had done something. I shook my head clearing the thoughts from my head. We ran into a different room that had a door open. Sam looked around and nobody seemed to be outside

"They are away at the moment we were right on time, but they will be back" Sam was cut off

"Man I can't believe anyone actually eats this shit" One guy joked and we all sprinted out the door and into the snowy outdoors. I whimpered a little from the cold, Vincent turned towards me and gave me a worried look. I shook my head saying I'm okay and Vincent nodded. We ran into a forest near the asylum, I stepped on twigs and my feet began to bleed. I fell over and tears streaked down my cheeks. Vincent walked up to me and picked me up. My head pressed against his chest so I could hear his heartbeat. Fading in and out of reality I fell asleep in Vincent's arms.

Sorry this chapter is short but I am going to update or at least try. I don't think it will get to popular but it is worth a shot
