"Wine?"

"Oh yes please," I laughed, leaning against the dining room table as Zoe pulled an unopened bottle of wine from the fridge, "-I've been craving some alcohol but I've been stopping myself, at least I know that if I'm here you won't let me drink myself helpless!"

"Don't worry, if you drink yourself helpless, I'll be helpless on the floor with you!" Zoe replied, us both bursting into heavy laughter. I clutched at my stomach as Zoe found 4 glasses in the cupboard. She turned around and aimed the top of the wine bottle at me as she tried to pop of the cork. I squealed, running away, the cork going 'pop' and falling onto the floor un-eventfully.

"That was anti-climatic." Zoe said bluntly, I was leaning to a chair with laughter, unable to control myself. Zoe giggled, pouring some of the cold, golden, fizzy liquid into two of the glasses. She sat down the bottle, handed me a glass and we walked into the lounge, laughing our faces off.

Zoe and I were each-others supports. We kept each-other together while our boys were away.

Zoe had changed. She was more mature, motherly and professional at the same time. Her hair was shorter now, going to her shoulders in a sleek, fashionable style and her fashion sense had improved (no more fluorescent bangles or dark eyeshadow). Once a week we tried to meet up, have a movie marathon or go late night shopping together, that way we could catch up, chat and gossip to each-other about everything going on in our lives. Zoe and Daniel had a big house in the outer parts of London. They used to live with Tom and I until Zoe got access to her trust fund from her parents. They saved up and bought themselves a house and now they're living happily together. Their house was lovely too, they both had great taste.

"Where's André?" Zoe asked me, us both collapsing onto the sofa with a pile of Disney movies already waiting in front of us, "I thought he was joining us tonight?"

"I thought he was too but may--"

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"-be he's at the door?!" I laughed, finishing my sentence.

"COME IN ANDRÉ!" Zoe screamed towards the doorway. The door creaked open and in came André carrying a backpack and a plastic bag. He smiled weakly, flicking off his boots.

"Sorry I'm late ladies!" He laughed, sitting backpack down at the door and coming to the living area, plonking down onto the sofa beside me, "-but I brought food!"

"Ooooooh what did ya bring?" Zoe cooed, trying to peer into the plastic bag. André chuckled, sitting the bag on the steel and glass coffee table.

"Only you're favorite type of food ever!"

"Thai food?" I gasped, "-you know us so well!"

André smiled and pulled out 2 plastic boxes of chicken Thai noodles and various other foods smelling of spices and herbs in devine mixtures. He also pulled a small plastic Tupperware container from his backpack.

"And there were some leftover macaroons and chocolate rumballs in the bakery, I figured they might as well not go to waste considering you two love them so much,"

"Wow you seriously love us André, thank you," Zoe beamed, darting off to the kitchen and coming back with some bowls and forks.

"Well you're my two favorite ladies and besides, I think you both needed it."

I gave André and tight squeeze hug, his muscle-y arms tightening around me. He knew how to make us happy, he knew when we especially needed it too. Zoe and I were both extremely thankful to have him in our lives. He was the guy who looked after us while our boyfriend's were rocking out on tour.
