"I thought we are together
When did our race even matter?
We, who have hopes, we can try
Why should mistakes be of race, why?

I carry mistakes on my hands
Hey, we all have some kind of plans
We don't stumble because of where we came from yo
Flesh, bones, and blood, thats why, just let it go

Why should these words cause my heart beat to seem silent?
No one sees that part of us that sparks, those tears translucent
No one sees the untamed ambition, sweaty palms, and glowing eyes
We are seen "too frail" to catch the storm, yet we a part of the skies"
