"I'm taking my break. I'll be in the back."
Kathleen's brother nodded, and Kathleen made her way to the staffroom at the back of his hardware store.
A while later she heard the door open behind her. She turned to talk to her brother.
It wasn't her brother standing in the doorway of the hardware store's staffroom.
