She sat down at the bar, telling the bartender what she wanted, and smiling. Of course, the bartender realized who she was and asked for an autograph. Alice gladly did as she was told before getting her beer and looking up at the TV.

The news reporter was babbling on about some storm that had hit Pennsylvania, and how the rain was so bad a bunch of people were killed in a crash. Nothing to entertaining to Alice. She looked down at her phone.

Vik and Mitch had been nonstop tweeting about the live stream. Alice turned her phone off, annoyed.

"Come here often?" A guy wearing a teeshirt and some jeans asked her from behind. He took a seat next to her.

"No, only tonight. I'm on tour."

"Ah, a singer."

"Yep. Have a show here tomorrow. Just trying to relax tonight."

"Well, can I help?" The guy smiled.

"Sure. I need some friends right about now..." Alice thought about Vik.

"Boyfriend problems?"

"Husband problems."

"Well, I'm Andrew. Nice to meet you." Andrew held his hand out to her, and she shook it.

"Alice. Alice Zerker."

"I've heard of you,"

"Most people have."

"Doesn't help that my daughter is obsessed with your husband." He laughed, taking a sip of his own drink.

"Well, Vik's quite popular. So... Your married?"

"One night stand, and she left me with the child nine month afterward."

"Wow, must be hard."

"Nope, I love my daughter, plus I get a lot of support from my parents. They're actually watching over her tonight."

"Oh, cool."

"I always wondered what it would be like to kiss a superstar..." Andrew smirked. Alice hadn't noticed how drunk he sounded until that moment.

"I wouldn't know... And-and I guess you never will." Alice nervously laughed, taking a sip of her beer.

"Why don't we go back to my place for better drinks. These ones are really bad." He slid a hand onto her thigh, making her really uncomfortable.

"Uh, I-uh... I best be going back to my hotel now, don't want to leave my husband waiting up for me."

"It's only ten thirty, I'm sure you could still stay out." Andrew continued to slid his hand up and down her thigh.

"Sorry, no..." Alice stood, but almost immediately she was being pulled back down.

"Alice."

"No!"

"Hey, Alice, right?" A guy behind her spoke, she couldn't quite see his face because she was staring at Andrew, making sure he didn't make any sudden moves.

"What are you doing?" The guy asked Andrew, and he immediately loosened his grip on her wrist.

"N-nothing." Andrew stuttered.

"You do know this girl is married?"

Alice finally was able to turn and see who the man was. She'd recognized his face and hair... It was none other than Preston Arsement, the one all the guys said had a crush on her. But apparently it 'had dissipated over the months since the Valice wedding'. His words, not hers.

"Preston." She whispered.

"Hey Alice... Now I suggest you get out of here," He pointed at Andrew, "before I call up her husband, and he brings five other dudes to beat your ass."

Alice had never heard Preston swear because he usually didn't. Him and his family were strictly Jewish.

"Oh-okay-I-sorry, Alice." Was Andrew really that scared of Preston? Either way, he stood and left. Preston filled the now empty seat.

"How'd you find me?" Alice asked, taking yet another sip of her almost gone beer.

"Magic."

"Seriously, though."

"GPS. Vik may or may not have one installed in your phone..." Preston admitted.

"Fucking Vik."Alice sighed, then laughed. She didn't know whether to be angry or happy. That GPS could save her life one day. And it already had.
