Thats the last thing Luke tweeted before I had to go to school. My dad wasn't back yet, so I had to get up myself and get ready with no one to talk to. Usually, my dad would come upstairs and chat with me while I picked out my clothes.

As I walk into school everyone is staring at me. That's not unusual for me. It's just that these are different states. Almost like people are waiting for something to happen to me. When I get to my locker I look around before opening the door. Nothing happens, so I continue on with my day.

After lunch, I'm standing at my locker when one of Ethan's friends walks up to me. He's pretty cute, but I don't go for fückboys.

"Hey, Calum, right?" He asks as I look at him. I nod my head while still collecting my school supplies.

"I know you and Ethan don't get along, but that doesn't mean we can't. I think Ethan is going way too far with this bullying thing. Do you think we could be friends?" My jaw drops as the words leave his mouth.

"I don't even know your name." My voice is raspy from not talking today.

"Oh! I'm sorry! My name is Aiden." Aiden says while holding out a hand for me to shake. I reach forward and hesitantly shake the boy's larger hand.

"Uhm, are we friends? I have something else to ask you."

"Yes, we can be friends." I smile softly and motion for him to continue.

"Would you be able to hang out after school? At my place?" I give it a little thought before I, gladly, accept the invitation. I've never been invited to someone's house, other than Ashton's.

"I'll see you later! Meet me after school at the office." I nod and close my locker as I watch Aiden walk away.

Maybe my life will get better from now on.
