Emma's POV:
The date was awesome. I felt so save around Xander.
"And? How was it?" Lou asked me when we were walking out to do our morning sport.
"Just... Perfect." I said while stretching myself a bit.
I saw Xander starring at me, then he came over to us.
"Hey." He smiled.
"Hey." I replied, blushing.
We just looked into each other's eyes.
"Um... Guys?" Lou snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Huh?" Xander and I said at the same time, causing us to giggle.
"Typical lovebirds!" My best friend Lou grinned and went away.
"Do you know what she's talking about?" I asked him.
"No, I do not. Pf!" He laughed, so did I.
"Alright, alright campers!" Gladys came to us and the other campers.
"In honor of Team Xander, who found the Kikiwaka trumpet, I've a huge announcement to make. This Friday, there will be the Kikiwaka Dance Night. Go grab yourself a date!"
Wow. A dance night?
"So, a dance night, huh?" Xander started and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah..." I mumbled, blushing like, a lot! I saw all the other boys asking girls to go to the dance night with them.
If he'll ask me to go to the dance with him?
"Hey, umm can I ask you something?" He asked nervous.
"Of course! Whatever it is, my answer is 'Yes'!" I replied, now as nervous and excited as he.
"Oh great! I was wondering if I could borrow me your Spanish textbook? I really have to practice." Xander said. My face dropped.
"Uh... Sure. I, I gotta go. I have to do this stuff. See you then." I waved at Xander.
"Thanks!" Xander waved back with a huge smile on his face.
Not a smile on my face. My face immediately dropped, and so did my mood.
