"Can we stay like this a little longer boss?" I mumbled.
"Come on call me by my name right now we're alone here," He sighed.
"Alright, uncle Dark." I mumbled.
"It's hard to believe how long ago it has been. It feels like it was just yesterday."
"I wish you could have known them. You're parents were so smart like you, and loved you so much they wouldn't want you to be so sad about what happened," Dark told me.
"It's hard not to be... especially with being around this family," I sniffed.
After a few minutes, we broke away. "Now since I've found you... Why didn't you call?! You made me worry and your brother too he's always asking me questions," I muttered.
"Sorry, I was waiting for you to call me," He answered.
"If you were in the field I didn't want to blow everything for you,"
It was quiet for a minute till Dark broke the silence.
"OK let's get down to business. What have you found out?"
"The Imitator is one of them. For this, I believe it's bigger than we thought. I'm sure that they will start a war sooner of later," I told him.
"So will you get to work again?" He asked, likely hearing about it from dispatch.
"Yes call me, I'll come in and get the job done just like it was before. Don't worry about it uncle Dark I've got their pattern down," I sighed.
"Alright, I better get going. Come tonight," He sighed and left.
"Yeah I'll be there," I agreed.
I stayed there for about a few hours before I turned around and left the grave.
"Roxanne you ready to go?" Stan asked.
"Yeah," I sighed.
"Why didn't you take off the cast?" Roy asked.
"I don't take them off during the day it's too dangerous someone could see me like that," I answered.
I think the crutches in the car, and then jumped in the back as well. "Want me to drop you off?" Stan asked.
"Doesn't matter as long as I get back there at some point, but not too late," I answered.
"Are you not bored at school?" She asked.
"I am but I have to go," I sighed.
"So what did you do for a gift?" Roy asked.
"Money," I answered.
"Whose birthday?" Stan asked.
"Ari's my adopted brother," I answered.
"Why'd you leave?" He huffed.
"I've got something more important to do. Also, he and I don't have the best relationship at the moment," I muttered.
"Yeah but you should at least be there," Stan huffed.
"I don't talk there it would be boring for me. I have more fun with you guys anyways," I sighed.
"Stan your not going to win," Roy sighed. I loosened the casts then fell asleep on Alex.
I was woken up by the sound of my phone going off, I have to open one I grab my bag and pulled out my phone.
"Hello?" I answered rubbing my eyes.
"Hey, Roxs can you come back?" Sky asked.
"Alright... Stan, I need to go back," I groaned.
"Ok, we're already going back that way," Stan sighed.
"Alright, we're coming," I sighed.
"OK see you soon," Sky mumbled. I hung up the phone then put it in my bag.
I fixed my casts then looked around Alex was asleep, Roy was listening to music, we were about 30 minutes away from town.
"Roxanne your ability to heal has gotten stronger compared to two years ago I mean," Stan told me.
"Yeah, it has it's probably because of how much I've used it, that it's gotten faster and stronger," I agreed.
I don't even know the extent of my abilities yet, I muttered. The rest of the ride was held in silence.
They drop me off then I walked into the house. "There you are. Where have you been?" Dave asked.
"Out," I signed, as best as I could.
