I spend so much time making words adhere

to the tricky iambic style; it feels

and sounds refined, and best when using

iamb words like restate, remake, revise.

Some poems are written in freeform with

no notice of rhythm or rhyme, but I think this is sometimes hard on the ear,

...however well described.

You can also write in freeform using a simple rhyme.

This may not be so easy, but great if you have the time.

For me I write in the iambic form

with the added extra input of rhyme.

But not in a couplet, it’ll best conform,

or very near, to each alternate line
