It was yet another stormy night on the rough streets of Torquay. Late into the evening, the main sounds and lights came from the flashing sirens of police cars, their blue lights cutting through the darkness. The night sky was shrouded in thick clouds, with a light drizzle falling to the ground. This was just another typical night on the streets, one we had witnessed before and would likely see many more times. Towering buildings loomed overhead as the wind howled and whistled between them. Most of Torquay was peacefully asleep, while a different story unfolded atop one of the tallest structures. Thunder rumbled ominously in the distance, accompanied by a flash of lightning. On that road stood James, gazing at the clouds alongside his girlfriend Laura and his best friend Louise. Laura, feeling uneasy with the thunder, flinched as she saw a bolt strike the harbor far away. "Seriously, guys, are we really safe up here? They say lightning strikes the highest point, and we're on top of this building," Laura exclaimed. "We should be fine; if it hits anything, it'll be the pole above us, but maybe don't stand too close," Louise replied. "You're supposed to reassure me, not remind me of the danger I'm in!" Laura retorted. "Relax, we'll be fine. If it does hit us, we probably won't even know it because we'll be dead," James joked. Laura playfully punched James in the arm, glancing at him as the night sky lit up once more. She flinched again, seeking comfort by cuddling into James. Meanwhile, Louise remained still, her gaze fixed on the rain-soaked rooftops ahead, where puddles formed. The area was quiet, just the three of them: James, Laura, and Louise. They had come to the rooftops for a purpose, not to climb airships as they had done years ago, but for a new challenge that would test their limits and see how far they could push one another. With a smile, Louise began to stretch and perform warm-up exercises, starting from her feet and working her way up. She glanced at James, who understood she wanted him to join her in the warm-up.

Jame remained silent as he began to mimic her actions, fully aware that they needed to navigate the rooftops. "Just remember, you two, the floor will be slick; one wrong move and you'll be plummeting to your deaths," Laura warned. "We've been up here countless times; we know nearly every inch of these rooftops, so don't worry," James reassured her. "I understand we're training to prepare for the hotel raid, but are you up for taking this run to the next level, James?" Louise inquired. James grinned at Louise's challenge; he relished a good race, and he and Louise always enjoyed playfully pushing each other. "Let's race around the skyscrapers, leap across the buildings, and circle back here," Louise proposed. "Fine, but we won't follow a set route; we'll move across the four buildings freely. If there's a risky jump, we can take the chance," James replied. "If it's dangerous and you fall, just know I'll be coming to drag you back from the depths of hell," Laura added. "Just so you know, if you get ahead, I'll transform to win, but I probably won't need to," Louise smirked. "I've been training; I don't just train with you; I often go for runs on my own," James stated. "That makes two of us. If we're hitting that hotel again, we need to be quick; we nearly met our end there last time," Louise said. "Then you need to push your limits; the transformation lasts only about 30 seconds before your energy is drained," James advised. "Actually, I can maintain it for 40 seconds now, as long as I concentrate," Louise corrected him. "You better make the most of those 40 seconds; the winner is the first one back here to touch Laura," James declared. "Why am I the finish line? Don't I get a say in this, guys?" Laura protested. "You just did! You can be our cheering post as we race," Louise teased. Louise spotted a broken roof panel and used it as a starting line for the race. After finishing their workouts, James and Louise stood side by side, both smirking at each other as thunder rumbled in the distance.
