chapter 7:: baby steps

I am sitting at the table with a plate full of food but I'm not hungry so I just stare at it. After a while Michael and my brothers and the rest of my mates walk in and they all have sad looks on there faces.

Michael sits down beside me and holds my hand

" guys I talked to the doctor and she said that because of what happened to cace she has gone mute" Michael said

I've gone mute?

"Will she ever talk again?" Edward asked

" with our help she will"

" Well then how do we help her" hunter asked

"I don't really know exactly but we will figure it out"

I just sat there looking at all my mates and my brothers I can't believe it I just found my mates then stupid Tyson had to come and destroy my happiness. I was ripped out of my thought by the door bell. Justin got up to go awnser it.

" omg cace are you okay what happened?" It was Sabrina

"Why isn't she saying anything?" She asked

" she went mute" Carter said

"What?"

"She won't talk anymore because of what happened" Eric said

I let go of Michael's hand and picked up my plate put it on the counter and walked up to my dark room and shut the door.

Moments later there was a knock

"Cace?" Sabrina asked

She walked in and came and sat on my bed

"Come on cace don't shut down you can talk to me your mates are so worried about you please talk" I shook my head and looked out the window

She sighed "fine when you decide to talk I better be the first one you talk to" and with that she walked out of my room.

I was still in my room on my bed looking out my window how could he do that after all we have been throu why why would he do that to me and why did he call me the saver what was he talking about. I gave up thinking about him and closed my eyes.

When I'm almost off to sleep I hear my door open. I sit up to see who it is this time instead of Matt it'd Michael.

He walked towards the bed and sat on it " can I stay with you tonight?" He asked

I nodded

He crawled in under the covers and pulled me close to him

"Look cace I'm not going to force you into talking but I just want to hear your beautiful voice again so please can you just say a word?" He begged

I just stayed quite I was not ready to talk not yet and I don't think I will ever be ready.

I Hurd him sigh witch made a tear roll down my cheek good thing I was not facing him I did not want him to see me cry.
